I was eating at the Five Guys located in Queen Creek off Victoria Rd. and witnessed one of the most disturbing displays of workplace bullying I’ve ever seen while visiting this location. A young man — a hardworking employee who had clearly been doing his best during a busy shift was loudly berated in front of customers and staff. The yelling was so aggressive that the entire store went quiet. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely inappropriate.
What was even more upsetting was seeing another store manager laughing from the corner while this young man visibly froze, trying not to cry. To see his body lock up from the distress, and management allow and even encourage this kind of behavior is absolutely appalling.
Workplace bullying, especially from those in leadership, should never be tolerated — and certainly not at the expense of someone trying to do their job with dignity. I sincerely hope corporate takes this seriously and makes immediate changes, because this location is failing its employees and its customers. I will...
Read moreThis was my first time at any Five Guys location. I have heard great things and it came highly recommended. I found the place to to be welll meh…..The hot dog was actually really good this is the best thing I can say about Five Guys. The burger was just like every run of the mill burger you can get except it was a little bland and way too greasy. Fries were good and bad but not consistent. They were crisp or soggy and either tooo salty or not salty enough. I actually very impressed they managed to get all 4 of those characteristics out of 1 batch of fries. Floors were sticky I could feel my feet pull from the floor with every step and since I was the only customer in there I could hear every step I took. Not busy not sure if that’s good or bad, either time of day contributes to that or maybe it’s just not that great to begin with and isn’t busy for that reason. Last but not least the cost of it. Bacon cheese burger, hot dog, little fries and large drink. $28.00!! That’s just absurd in my opinion. Would not come again, would...
Read moreI don't think they should be delivering food. Their product isn't accurately represented by what is experienced when delivered. Or so I'm told. This was my first five guys order. I ordered for lunch to be delivered by postmates. The burger was still warm. But the bread was soggy. The burger fell completely apart and was a huge mess. But the most disappointing part was that my strawberry shake was completely thawed. I could've had a better experience had I just blended a few strawberries with a cup of milk. So,I paid $5 for a small cup of milk with a few chopped up strawberries in it. For $5 I was expecting the best milk shake experience ever! What I got was the worst experience ever! But,to be fair,I will try them again when I have time to stop in and have it fresh. I will give an update then. Just wanted to warn people about the delivery experience. I spent $16 and change for a soggy burger and a warm shake. And I didn't even have...
