Much like the Gilbert Starbucks by the 202, this place is a joke during "busy" times which is almost any time most people go.
Look through these reviews and look at the people who say they waited 15 minutes+. Those are the real reviews.
There are two possibilities. One, the staff is slow/incompetent. Two, there are simply too many people for them to handle.
I suspect it's a combination of both and here is an example why. I ordered my coffee and a cake pop. After taking my order the girl at the register had nothing to do. The other girls where busy making coffee and sandwiches. So you'd think the girl doing nothing would get me my cake pop (like I've seen st other locations). Nope. And when I pointed to it she snidely said "they will get that for you". I didn't bother pointing out the obvious because it probably would have went over her head. No. She choose, instead, to pick up a rag and wipe a counter down instead of helping the sandwich maker. Incompetence.
Either way, it's ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. There is a grande and venti iced coffee sitting there from this morning, left by me, BECAUSE AFTER TWENTY FREAKIN MINUTES, I had to leave.
I don't care what the excuse is. They pour freakin coffee.
Avoid this place...
Read moreKind of a hit or miss with this place as far as wait time. I do a mobile order from this Starbucks nearly every day. Their drive thru is usually very packed and there are several people waiting inside, as well. Sometimes my order is ready for me immediately when I walk in and other times (like this morning) I waited nearly 20 minutes after mobile-ordering to get my food and drink. I’m not sure if there was a mix up with the orders, but people who had ordered inside AFTER me were getting their drinks first. The people are so friendly at this location, so I didn’t make a big fuss. I just informed them that I had been waiting a while and they immediately made it for me. If I could give one piece of constructive criticism? They need to be more persistent about asking people waiting inside who has a mobile order and who does not. There have been several times when my drink is ready and I still have to wait 5-10 minutes just to get one of them to hand it to me. Otherwise, this...
Read moreI called New Year’s Eve asking what time they would be open on New Years. They said 6pm. So we get in the drive through line at 4:40ish. Kid you not we waited in line until 4:59 we’re just about to get up to order and they come out saying they close at 5 and are stopping orders ( already in blocked in the driveway). To make matters worse they then put cones blocking everyone in so we could not leave and no one was moving forward. We had to get out and move the cones because the person behind us was about to run them over trying to get out. I worked at Starbucks: this is unacceptable. If you’re going to close off the drive through at least finish the orders of those IN THE DRIVE-THROUGH out of customer service and so they can at least get out and not get blocked in from people not moving forward who are po’d. Literally the worst experience I have ever had and will never go to this location ever again. Management really needs a chat with the employees on how to...
