★☆☆☆☆ Bagel Blues: A Disappointing Doughnut My recent experience with Einstein Bagels in Queen Creek was nothing short of a massive disappointment. I'm not one to leave scathing reviews, but the quality of the bagels coupled with the exorbitant prices left me no choice. Let's start with the bagels themselves – utterly basic. Honestly, you might as well grab a bag from Safeway or Fry's. Even day-old bagels from those grocery stores would likely be a more satisfying and cost-effective choice. They were that bland. To add insult to injury, I decided to try their "specialty" jalapeño bagels with cheese. For an extra 60 cents per bagel, I received what could only be described as a sad, flattened excuse for a jalapeño bagel. Once sliced, they resembled pancakes more than anything else. The promised jalapeño flavor was barely detectable, and the cheese was minimal. It felt like a complete rip-off. I could have made a better bagel sandwich at home with ingredients from my own fridge. The high price point for these subpar bagels is simply unacceptable. It's highway robbery, especially considering the quality – or lack thereof. I understand that businesses need to make a profit, but the prices are completely disproportionate to what they offer. It felt like I was paying a premium for a product that was, at best, mediocre. And let's not forget the Queen Creek parking situation. It's a nightmare. Trying to find a parking spot in that area is an exercise in frustration and adds a significant layer of stress to the whole experience. It definitely detracts from any enjoyment you might hope to get from your visit, even if the bagels were good, which they definitely weren't. Overall, my experience was thoroughly unpleasant. Overpriced, underwhelming, and frankly, insulting. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a decent bagel to steer clear of this establishment. Save your money and head to your local grocery store – you'll get a better bagel for a fraction...
Read moreI’ve ordered from this location at least 10 times and never again. Tired of wasting my money.
Does this place even bake its own bagels on site or do they get shipped in from other stores? I swear it’s a 50/50 chance you’re getting what tastes like a day old bagel whenever I order here. If I get 2-3 bagels it’s a sure thing I’m getting at least 1 “hard as a rock inedible” brick bagel. It’s disappointing to say the least. Oh and they always skimp on the shmear! Need to add “double toasted” option in the app- since this locations version of toasted is maybe 10 seconds in the toaster oven. I remember when a trip to Einsteins meant fresh, hot bagels and good coffee. Now it’s a “usually stale hope they didn’t mess up my order” trip every time. And, of COURSE QC finally gets an Einstein and it’s the worst one in the Valley! Typical.
P.S. I can’t wait for the inevitable copy/paste response about how concerning the review it. Uhh, maybe address the issues versus doing nothing. Read the reviews people the 4+ rating is very deceiving- this locations serves stale bagels on the regular and...
Read moreAfter visiting this einsteins location for several months, I can positively say it is a great place to eat! Not only is the food fresh and tasty, the staff are always super responsive and friendly. If I ever do have an issue with my order (which is rare), they are always quick to correct it and offer me something to make up for it, which I greatly appreciate.
I have visited several other einsteins locations in the valley, and I always find this one to be the cleanest and most visually appealing. It has a super cute and cozy atmosphere. I always feel welcome whenever I walk into the door, due to the kind staff members' greetings.
All in all, I would highly recommend this einsteins location if you are either looking for a quick and affordable meal, or just stocking up on bagels for...
