I realize this review is going to be unpopular, but gotta give my honest opinion. I've noticed people tend to avoid reviewing the actual taste/texture of the cookies themselves. The shop is cute and the staff is friendly. The presentation of the cookies is nice too. But I base my rating of cookie shops on 2 things: their sugar cookie and their chocolate chip cookie. Right out of the gate, Crumbl loses because they commit the ultimate baking faux pas and use milk chocolate chips. To me, that's an absolute no, but if that's your preference, then you will probably enjoy it. As for their sugar cookie, it is doughy, with a texture like Play Doh. I like a sugar cookie that is moist but not doughy. It's a tough line to find when it comes to baking. For the life of me, I can't figure out why people love this place so much. It's overpriced and not that great. There are plenty of places to get better cookies and a better price! Be a little adventurous and branch out to other cookie shop options! You won't regret it.
Update: a friend recently encouraged me to try these again. She chose the flavors: chocolate chip (with semi sweet chocolate chunks, yay!), a marshmallow chocolate one, a peanut butter butterfinger one, and a raspberry cream cheese oatmeal cookie. Gotta say, I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The chocolate chip cookie was so much better when not using milk chocolate! 😋 After this, I will be more likely to give it another try if I feel like splurging...
Read moreI ordered 30+ cookies online for a set pick up time and they were out of all of the ones I ordered. For a larger order at a set schedule you would think to plan for something like this better. I waited 15 minutes for them to tell me my order couldn’t be fulfilled. Then when we worked something out, I get home and the cookies didn’t have the toppings on them.
This was so disappointing as I spent over $90 on this order. I’ve been kindve out on Crumbl for a while now but the Thanksgiving pies drew me back in for a final try and that is confirmed the last time I’ll be going to crumbl.
I was very patient and understanding in person as I know Thanksgiving g orders were probably chaos. Some girl then was making a mockery of my last name as she read it on the box, not realizing I was in the store. When she looked up and caught eyes with me she looked like she saw a ghost. Not only was my money terribly spent, the quality of the cookies we’re poor and the atmosphere was awkward and embarassing. There was a line out the door by the time we reached some sort of solution for my order and no one came up to greet the new walk in customers so everyone was looking around asking one another if they’ve been helped yet.
There was a young blonde guy that did what he could for me under the circumstances (that should’ve never happened in the first place) and that’s about all I have to say that went ‘well’ about this experience.
Go to the next cookie place down the street. They’re...
Read moreExtremely disappointed. The staff working on 8/6 was so unbelievably rude it is hard to believe they have jobs. My mother stopped at Crumbl to surprise our family with a special treat, but was given the wrong order at curbside pickup (even after confirming the name on the order with the girl who brought it out). After she got home and saw the order was wrong we returned to the store. The girl who helped her was extremely rude and made comments like “you should’ve checked the name”, rolled her eyes at my mom, and belittled her for wanting the order corrected. (There wasn’t even the right amount of cookies.) Finally they handed her another box of cookies with her order. Again, the order was nothing like what she ordered so she turned around and told them it still wasn’t right. Instead of helping my mom the girl then just ignored my mom and called up the next customer to help, as if she wasn’t even standing there. My mom pulled up the receipt and was finally able to get it corrected (after they tried to convince her she really wanted the wrong order). The entire experience was so off putting. Crumbl had been a family favorite since we went to the first location in Logan, we were so excited they expanded to AZ. Now, it’ll be hard to...
