Ordered the Baconator and was not so pleasantly surprised when I got home and there was absolutely no bacon on it. I live in San Tan Valley so I wasn't just going to drive all the way back there just for bacon, I thought if I save my receipt and came back the next day they could make the situation right. The manager told me that if I didn't call it in the night before or if I didn't have the burger itself, she couldn't do anything...I told her that that literally makes no sense, what if I just called it in and lied and said I didn't have bacon on there? She shrugged and said she would still have to give me the burger, but in this situation where I have the receipt and I'm on camera purchasing the burger yesterday she said there was nothing she could do... terrible customer service in my opinion, it's Wendy's not a 5-star lobster restaurant. She said that without a manager's approval from the night before she couldn't do it. I know humans make mistakes, that's why I walked in and I wasn't even upset, I didn't get frustrated until she pretty much told me she couldn't do anything, which I know is not the case. I've worked in multiple fast food establishments, they can comp anything as long as they have a manager's approval, she just didn't want to do it. I never leave reviews but this actually really bothered me, how else am I supposed to prove I got they messed up Burger, you literally wanted me to save it overnight, also, nowhere does it say on the receipt I have to call in if something's wrong. If I knew that, of course I would have called it in. The only thing on the back of the receipt is a survey you can take to get free food. I love Wendy's but that really pissed me off, it's bacon, you literally could have just charged me for a double cheeseburger and threw some bacon on there, that would have made it right. Read moreSince moving from OH (Home of Wendy's) to Queen Creek, AZ two months ago, we found it challenging to find a local Wendy's that served hot fresh food and delicious fries cooked just right and a full portion! Finally...this location hit one "Out-of-the-Park" this week! I ordered a Dave's Double & Large Fries and the Burger was fresh, hot & juicy...and the fries were warm & crispy and filled up to the top of the container! "Unlike" the past few months of half filled fries! Blah... :( I'm not sure what changed, but keep up the great work!! And maybe this location will get a lot more bu$ine$$...and perhaps lines around the drive-thru like other 'freshly prepared" burger joints! Special shout out to Host: Kallie, Cashier Adam and all the hard working Wendy's Team on April 3, 2024 at 3:15 p.m.! Lastly, we were used to great service (yes, they knew my name) & fresh full portions at our Past local Brunswick, OH 44212 Wendy's...plus the price was $8.95 (w/Sr. Discount) and the Price is much higher here at $11.81 with "NO Sr. Discount!" I mention that since the food must be Fresh, Hot & Delicious with Full Portions...especially with the higher cost and lots of competition! Read more3rd time there I don't know why I keep going back.. 1st time they messed up my burger I called and talked to a really nice manager he took my name told me to come back to replace it.. 2weeks goes by I decide let me give wendys another chance plus I get a credit for a burger I order 20.oo worth of food then I tell them that aside from food I order that I have a double stack waiting to be replaced the manger ask me who did you talk to I said a nice gental man she said we don't have day manger (guy) she said what was his name I responded and said I did not get his name he took my name.. She she says well he did not write your name down so no free burger I was like wow what ever i just paid for my food... tonight I try them a 3rd time.. big mistake I place another 22.00 order I had a total of 6 orders somehow I only got 5 orders she says the lady who took my order deleted it and retook your order. By that time I am in drive threw 30min already the same manger that felt with me rhe 2nd time was manager tonight she comes to the window and says what's the problem I rold her I need one more meal so goes threw rhe screen and sees where My Order is at mean time 10more min pass and my food is getting cold manager comes to the window and says i will make sure this meal French fries are fresh I don't want you complaining that fries are cold.. mean time my other food I order is now 20min cold.. never going back to wendys events at least McDonald's gives you what you without...
