I ate here for lunch on a business trip. I had the chicken hibachi lunch special. Restaurant was clean, but very dimly lit. Service was good. They make their own iced tea and miso soup. Miso soup was decent with a rich smooth texture, some seaweed, and a chunk or two of small cubed tofu. Middle of the road. Food was served very fast. Portion size is decent, but not large. If you are big like me and starving, expect to order an appetizer. I thought it was a decent serving that held me over for 4 hours. Taste was generic. It was not bad, nor was it unique and perfectly carmelized. Rice was bland. I would ask for double portion of veggies and no rice next time to cut calories if allowed. Veggies tasted fine and were more cooked than crisp. I asked for no mushrooms but still got some. No big deal to me. Overall, it was okay with good and fast service for a decent price. I would not recommend to seasoned Japanese foodies. Everyone should enjoy it.

Absolutely wonderful food. Cooper greeted me at the door and asked me where I'd like to set. He was very courteous and professional! He introduced me to the sushi chef KD who was just as friendly! KD and I had a great conversation throughout my meal and occasionly Cooper would check in to make sure that I was takin care of and happy. They both suggested the philly roll which I no longer could stuff into my belly! Lol This place is amazing. I got the Halloween roll with a side of the of avacado salad as well as a California roll. I attached a picture of the blow torched Halloween role which was absolutely spectacular and tasty. Prices are about average for a good quality sushi restaurant. They also had a habachi area which I could hear people laughing hysterically with the habachi xhef flinging food and everyone having a great time. I give this place 5 stars out of 5!! I will be back.

The food is mediocre which is a step up for the town it's located in 🤣 when I'm visiting family I always come here at least once. The last experience that I've had at this place was less than enjoyable. The chef was very rude so I gave him the same energy back. The waiter was OK he just couldn't understand me so I had to ask for a manager to tell me the specials. I get that the town that the restaurant is located in is full of primitive people, people who don't get out of the town much and overall people who don't know what good services or quality of food. So with that being said I'm going to rate this place compared to all hibachis in a 60 mile radius. Is it the worst hibachi restaurant that I've ever been to? No! But it is by far not the best either. Sushi was actually really good though, I'll give them that. BUT the People in Quincy just flat out suck. (Customers)period.

This is a terrible place. Please avoid this place at all cost. They are cooking and serving food that is undercooked. Me and my husband were fine until we decided to order lunch place from this place yesterday. Then a few hours after eating this my husband can’t stay out of the bathroom. This is a disgusting place and I hope no one ever has to endure what we went through. COOK YOUR FOOD THROUGHLY AND STOP SERVING US CUSTOMERS NASTY OLD FOOD. Many people have got food poisoning from here. Unless you want to be sick do not eat here! They are extremely dirty and have had many health violations in the past years. I hope this place gets shut down and people stop supporting these careless filthy folks

A routine inspection on January 21, 2019 revealed live cockroaches in the gaps of shelving units and on the floor around the hibachi grill area near the sushi bar. The report also noted mouse droppings in a large plastic flour container.

An inspection on July 16, 2018 revealed holes and other gaps present at the back screen door, in which rodents and insects could enter the restaurant. The same inspection noted cross-contamination from meat being stored above a large container of ginger sauce in a walk-in cooler, as well as a violation of putting cooked rice (between 59-64 degrees Fahrenheit) into a walk-in cooler, when cold foods need to be stored at 41 degrees or below.

A November 7, 2018 inspection also noted similar violation of cooked rice at 64 degrees stored in the...

I nearly lost the hair on the back of my neck from one cook, and my eyebrows from the other cook. Little too much oil in flame to start the show. But as always the food was very good. Our waitress appeared to be Japanese or something and had a very strong accent and was hard to understand. Apparently she took our orders wrong because when the cook came out with the food to cook it he didn't have the proper Meats. He was a little upset about that as where we. But he went back in the kitchen and got it remedied and prepared our meal for us. Definitely a five-star meal. We were a little concerned about because none of the patrons wore masks in or out. Apparently the restaurant was open in violation of the Statewide mandate. We do admire that. We're not big fans of government intrusion. But we are also cautious when out in public then why we don't think masked should be forced on people, we do think that it's a smart choice that one there appears to be a lot of reported covid cases in an area it's probably prudent to wear a mask. And fortunately 2 days after we ate there my wife and I both came down Sick. We don't think it's covid-19 but one never knows. We'd still go back for lunch today if we could but unfortunately we're over an hour away. But it's still our favorite place to go whenever we have to go to Quincy for something. We wish they would open a...

Sub par is probably the best way to describe my experience. The portions were off, lunch was very small and the $5 edamame was extremely small. I can buy the same amount of edamame for $0.25, which makes that a huge profit margin. I guess if you can pull it off, do you.

There were children running around most of time we were here. No one stopped them and they were climbing on and under furniture.

The staff was lazily walking around and processing chopsticks at one of the front tables. They didn't even try to hide it. While socializing and making chopsticks for ?kids? the waitress was coughing. She also helped people to their tables, gave hugs to coworkers and friends, then went back to chopsticks. I assume someone was going to eat off those, so ... gross.

I ordered hot green tea. It tasted funny. More than likely, it was just tap water but I had to ask for a second tea bag because the first didn't even flavor the water. I gave up and didn't drink it.

The immitation crab roll was disappointing at best. I don't think I would ever order raw fish here.

Maybe I'm used to places like this in other cities, I was just very disappointed. From reading the other reviews I can see that locals are too. It's sad, because when this place opened it was a big deal and people were really happy it was...
