Lucky Dragon Restaurant — Restaurant in Quincy

The food is average, but gets the job done. However, they're inability to prepare food remotely close to the designated pickup time is what prompted this review. Last year on New Year's Eve I waited an hour and a half past my pickup time for the order to be ready. I had placed the order 3 days ahead of time. This year I decided to give them another chance and they did the complete opposite. Instead of orders being really late, they were really early. I showed up on time and when I was handed the bag of food, I could tell it wasn't hot. While I was there waiting to pay, someone called and complained that they got a text message about their food being ready a half hour before it was supposed to be picked up. The person who took the phone call told the other employees to stop texting people so early even though their order is ready... what the hell... I wish I had gotten one of those messages. I would have rushed over while my food was still hot. When I arrived home with my food, sure enough, it was basically cold. They're typically on time when it's not a holiday, but it's hard to get over the cold food and the employee's response to orders being ready way too early. I won't go back here again for those reasons.

I also question if letting people's cooked food sit around so long is in compliance with health department codes. I'll definitely be...

I was definitely hoping for more from this place; especially considering the reviews. The truth is that the food while fresh, was very bland and without passion that you usually expect from an Chinese restaurant.

I am saddened to have to write this review considering I drove for almost an hour to reach this restaurant, and the way the food is now - I won't be going back. Hoping the owners will see this review and decide to change things up.

In addition, there was a wall of boxes and kitchen equipment clearly visible in the dining area - even a curtain might have helped the atmosphere; seeing forks all nicely laid out, with intention, on the table didn't help.

There was an essence of Chinese culture and art on the wall, but it was still not enough to compensate for the tasteless food and uninspired ambience.

It's the little things that make up a truly authentic ethnic food, and it's unfortunate to say, this restaurant didn't hit the mark.

Maybe it was the demographic they're catering to; idk. Wish this restaurant the best, though, and here's hoping for positive changes and a bright future ahead for the Lucky...

This was our first time ordering from Lucky Dragon, we were able to easily call and place the order for pick up via phone. Expected wait time was incredibly quick which was great! When we got the food, the portions were much larger than we expected and well packaged. My husband ordered drunken noodle with chicken and it was filled with plenty of chicken and has left overs for tomorrow - which never happens! The vegetarian combo was delicious, however I could potentially do without the spring roll next time. The combo dish tasted just like one I had growing up, and I look forward to ordering from them again! I ate my meal too quickly, so no photos this time but I will upload some next time we...
