To be honest, I would have like to give a rating between 3 and 4. I personally liked the food. I ordered the saag paneer and a roti on the side. I have nothing bad to say about the saag as it hits the spot and was flavorful enough. The waitress/hostess was even kind enough to come and check on the spice level. The roti was overcooked, hard and was room temperature, borderline cold. The following explanation will provide why I am in between 3 and 4. I can in at 12 pm for lunch. I was the first one there and placed my order promptly. Another couple came in about 7 min thereafter, were seated, and also placed their orders. Not only did that table get their larger order first, I waited a total of 50-55 mins to get my saag paneer and roti. When I inquired about my food, the hostess was quite sweet and apologetic. She was the only one there at the time. The food came out promptly and hot (sans the roti) after that. I was told that they had only opened 3 weeks prior so they are new. Again, the food wasn't bad (I may order the naan next time), but the wait time and missing my order makes me hesitant to come back. By the time I left, a total of four tables were occupied (Tues afternoon) so it was not busy for dine in. I am willing to give it another try however. BTW: Please don't be afraid to use the platter given as a plate. Beautiful cutlery. Their bathroom sink (women's) is super interesting!!

My second experience with this restaurant No.. This is not my go to place at all.. but the host preferred ordering so we couldn’t deny & no wonder they didn’t surprise me this time as well 1st two pics as we can see are the containers where lids are almost damaged as food was packed piping hot which usually all restaurants do but I guess it’s a low grade plastic containers 2nd pic is a plain paratha not even butter against us ordering cheese chilli garlic naan When we ordered they said they are out of Gajar halwa so we asked for Rasmalai which was charged but not received This review isn’t about quality of food they serve as it has already missed the train It’s about customer service.. do not offer credit for next order or any free food We want good food when we order it and has to be delivered as requested Not by your choice or your convenience We had to trash the food which were in those plastic containers as the lids were almost melted I have no personal grudges with you guys but when you have entered this market .. play a good game and act responsibly When I called complaining about the order they said restaurant was busy so they messed up the order and they are sorry about that Our chilli garlic naan was delivered to someone else How irresponsible this answer is ..!!!

I would never recommend dining in or ordering food from Raja Rani restaurant, Quincy. I had a bad experience ordering food from the restaurant. I am a vegetarian and I ordered matar paneer, instead I got butter chicken. I cannot trust the restaurant again, I don’t know what procedures they follow to make sure the vegetarian food is cooked separately. Their customer service is so pathetic that after calling them about the issue, they didn’t have anything to say, they didn’t even understand I was trying to say because they couldn’t understand English at all, neither were they able to reply. I tried in Hindi and they were struggling with that. I told them to connect me with their manager and they didn’t even do that, they didn’t even share the name of the manager. Again, if you are ordering food from them, do it at your own risk, I am never doing it again, bad service, bad food and no follow up. The picture I have uploaded is of butter chicken we got instead of Matar paneer.

I got a groupon to try them out, and they did NOT disappoint! the atmosphere was quiet and still, i went during lunch on a weekday, right before their 2:30pm closing for dinner, so the place was empty. they sat me at a booth near the window, then i let them know right away i was vegan. the hostess made sure a member of the staff understood that i was vegan, what that was and what i can and cannot eat. i can tell it was well communicated because she came back saying that i couldn't have one of the things i ordered, but there were still so many options for me to choose from!

the "pakora" app was light and crisp fried to flavor satisfaction. a tad too fried, but it was lighter than tempura, so the spices and veggies came through well, and the accompanying sauce was a nice touch to soften it up a bit. the "pepper fry" with gobi was EVERYTHING though! califlower fried to perfection, in a spicy veggie sauce full of body, heat and all types of original indian spices. they have meat and seafood options for this dish too, so i'm sure this dish will please anyone! i also ordered the "kathrikai vadhakkal", which is eggplant, tomatoes and onions in a sauce, with basmati rice, and ordered a side of roti, which was soft, but still the right amount of strength to hold even the oiliest spoonful of food. speaking of oily, the eggplant was cooked to perfection and the flavors and textures were SO much better than some of the eggplant dishes i've had at other indian places, but there was a lot more oil than spices. it didn't take away from the dish, but it would have been much better without at least half the pool of oil in there. the basmati rice was of course cooked to perfection and helped with some of the extra oil.

the staff were friendly and attentive. they didn't hover or rush me (since it was close to first closing) and took special care of my requests. i didn't much mind the lack of customers, since i needed some pace and quiet, but i'm sure that won't be the norm after a while. overall, this was one of the most pleasant and satisfying lunch experiences i've had in years, and i haven't had indian this good in a while. groupon or not, i'm definitely going to this place again.

unfortunately, i'm going to have to take back most of what i said. my friend and i met there because she said she wanted to try it and i had such a great experience. but that was the lunch service, this is the dinner service...

at 6pm, it was relatively empty so we sat anywhere. the greeter doubled as the waiter, apparently, and didn't seem to understand anything we were saying or asking for. i ordered the mushroom pepper fry, and POINTED to the mushroom on the menu as i ordered it, which was after my friend and i BOTH told him i was vegan (vegan, not vegetarian). after waiting at least a half hour for my entree, they brought me mutton.

my friend ordered onion chutney with her meal and they kept bringing everything else out but the chutney, after she asked for it three times and the waiter said ok. finally the server that brought our food made it clear they don't do onion chutney, which is what she asked the waiter before she ordered it, yet he said they would make it.

not only did we have to flag him down like a plane to get his attention, but he was more attentive to the phone and the walk ins for the buffet than us, who were already there and actually tip. now i see why he was pushing the buffet on us..

by the time we finally got our food, i was so discouraged that i couldn't even enjoy it. yhe spring rolls and fried corn were to be expected, but the pepper fry was not the same today as it was then, seemed a little lackluster, outside of my discouraged experience. very...

I truly cannot recommend this resteraunt or the amazing people working there any more highly! My family and I wanted to throw a surprise party for my mom, so we reached out to Raja Rani Indian Restaurant. Kumar (the manager) and his team went above and beyond to make this experience so incredibly special, as well as an absolute blast for us! Kumar and I communicated for the two months leading up to the party-- he was very kind, accommodating, and thoughtful, and he was very enthusiastic about hosting our party. We were offered a very fair rate, as well as a very delicious buffet selection. Kumar and his team even accommodated the menu to have vegetarian options, and, I'm so appreciative of the fact that they labeled all potential allergens above each item. The day of the party, we were told we could arrive early to set up. Kumar and his team were so kind as to give our party own section of the restaurant. The people working there— Adi, Aki and Angel were so kind and accommodating. They all introduced themselves, and offered to take video footage/photos for us-- it was so much fun to look through the photos/videos afterwards! They brought out food and drinks, were so kind as to let us take the extra food home, and they stored the cake that we brought in for us. They all did such an incredible job hosting our party, and my mom couldn’t have been happier! Every single one of us had an absolute blast! This resteraunt has the kindest and most thoughtful staff, as well as absolutely delicious food! One of the people working there told me that it was his birthday on the day we were in-- he was so incredibly thoughtful to assist with, and make our party special on what was also his birthday! I truly couldn’t recommended this restaurant any more highly for private parties, events, or, for sit down/take out lunch or dinner! This incredible team goes above and beyond to provide an A+ experience. They value both kindness and communication, and they place emphasis on providing great service as well as a positive experience! I can’t thank you all enough— Kumar, Aki, Adi and Angel for making this such a fun and special day for my mom as well as for all of us! My mom had such an wonderful and special birthday, and we all had so much fun chatting and seeing friends! Thank you all...

Ordered 3dosas and one fish appetizer yesterday thru doordash (pickup). I was very excited to try at this new restaurant but it totally disappointed me. The dosas we’re not done properly and the peanut chutney is a total disaster (can feel the peanuts are toasted till they r burnt and can feel the burnt smell) for 3 dosas they did nt give separate chutney instead they gave one small container which is not enough for all the 3 dosas. I would not mind paying a good price if the food is tasty but this one paying 14.99 for a Mysore masala dosa where the red masala paste I could hardly see it. I m totally disappointed with the Sukka mutton dosa where all bones are added instead of meat. I m not gonna order again.

Ordered thru Uber eats again for my roommate on 19/12/2021- chicken fried rice and it was Salty: Now please don’t tell me to come and eat in the restaurant for a better taste. Anyways Coming to dosas I always order take out from one of your competitor in Quincy and they always gave me proper done Mysore masala dosa with proper red chutney spreaded well. And the chutney quantity you guys give is so less and tastes so horrible where I will never spend extra money on that. I m not here to complain or argue, One more thing I would like to tell you is that I m a South Indian and I know how a Dosa should be eaten. Dosas can be eaten hot or cold it does not matter but the dosa has to be cooked well and done in the manner it has to be done. Mistakes happen with everyone but one should be ready to accept and correct those mistakes. But here it looks like you guys are not ready to accept the truth and take feedback to improve your food quality. Anyways I would never order...
