i just stumbled on this absolute gem in Rahway while waiting for a ride. i had a regular old breakfast sandwich a couple of days ago and it was astonishingly good. ultra lovely service from Sonya and started my day off great. Went back today right before they closed and encouraged me that even though they were closing I could or whatever I wanted. i was thinking a tuna sandwich my old standby but then Wendy, the daughter of Sonya, provided the same lovely service and suggested some amazing items I have never tried. i ordered a whole bunch of items like Platos and baldaleas as well as their homemade yogurt. A take-out spot that doesn’t know what baleadas, the tortilla is not Honduran style, and adding lettuce to a quesadilla (come on).

Have tried this place over several weeks. Keeps disappointing.

The worst part of it all is when they don’t feel like talking to you. They hang up when they feel like on you. Then screen your calls. After some time they’ll answer and say that never happened. Such a negative experience EVERY SINGLE TIME.

These are the BEST quesabirria tacos I have EVER had! They taste like home 🙏🏼 tacos come with cheese and a very delicious consume. It was not too salty nor too watery, but a perfect consistency. The carne was seasoned to perfection, and it was a nice amount. They were not cheap with the portions! You get 3 nice big tacos.
