Read moreI came here seeing pretty decent reviews on the place but I wasn’t super impressed. Firstly, the waitress served TWO other people who came after me and only when I asked for water a second time did she serve and she didn’t seem pleased about the fact that I asked. Secondly, my food came late, again after the same people who arrived and were seated after me. Seeing how I was sitting there waiting for my food while everyone else was eating, she told me that strips were made “in house” and not “prepared before hand” ?? I did not understand that logic but okay, fine I guess. I finally get my food and guess what. It was not made in house. And how do I know this? It wasn’t piping hot like it was freshly made. At best I’d say it was warm. Then this server had the audacity to tell me I’d have to pay EXTRA for Kewpie mayo while other people had a thing of mayo on their plate? I don’t know if she was out for me or if I did something wrong but there is no way in hell I’m paying for mayo when other places offer it with their dishes. Food was decent, nothing spectacular. Paid an extra $3 to have cheese and flaked parsley and garlic sprinkled on my fries which wasn’t exactly pleasing. Overall, I’d say not to go here. I don’t know if I was targeted because I was alone or because I was a brown POC and everyone else there was white, but sure felt that way. There are other k fried chicken places that even though are a little far out, serve great food and aren’t rude to...
