So, Indeed rejected my lil post and that is perfectly alright with me. I am going to speak on whatever platform I can to get the word out. Chili's has a good atmosphere, the workers are nice, the food is phenomenal, but don't EVER apply to work there!! It is A Whole HOT MESS! I was a Food Runner and it was all gravy at first, until one day I am standing in the back and two employees came back in the kitchen and started vaping RIGHT THERE blowing smoke in my face, not concerned with the fact that 1. I am not a smoker and 2. I suffer from health problems that caused me to quit smoking years ago. The actions of these employees sent me to the hospital with an asthma flare up. I then reported it to corporate who I KNOW addressed it. Because when I returned, the workers were now smoking outside. Oh and btw, the reason I went straight to corporate instead of telling my managers, is b/c one of the managers was vaping on the line WHILE speaking to the Store Manager. So I already knew I would not be "heard." Fast forward to this month. I discovered I had a check there that was sent back to corporate b/c instead of my manager calling me to let me know I had a check, he decided to send it all the way back to Texas and let me deal with it. So for weeks on end I have been blowing up phones and emails trying to get MY PAY that I WORKED for with no response. So. TODAY, I have filed a complaint with the labor board b/c how hard is it to show some freakin common courtesy? Or is the current administration rubbing off? No decency, no morals, no integrity, no compassion, NO NADA. Well, let me be the first to tell you, you may still go and eat there, I still will too I am sure. Love the food, but a JOB. Stay the hell away from there!!! And be careful about who delivers your nachos!!! I'm just sayin. Word of Advice: Get the to go nachos and open them and for yourself instead of having them brought out to you. I actually have pictures of the girls smoking in the kitchen, and the ONLY REASON I am not going to post them is b/c the staff was nice to me and I like those girls and would not tarnish their name or image b/c of the management team not doing their job. These are young staff members and the management team has a responsibility to maintain control of their staff and abide by the safety rules and standards of a company, and they did not. Plain and simple. But don't hold my check for any reason. Send me my money!!! We ate here for my Wedding on 03/08/2025 and our server was one of the girls I had taken the pic of vaping. She reminds me of one of my daughters! She provides great service, she made sure my party of 12 was taken care of and she did a wonderful job. So, I am not going to slam Chili's as a restaurant for their food, service, and atmosphere, but you definitely score a -0- in the career department and handling your...
Read more2022 UPDATE: Still two stars. I made the mistake of giving this location another chance since I was across the parking lot at the movies. Only four tables were seated and two other people were at the bar. So slow we almost thought they were closed. So one would assume that we would have quick service. Sorely mistaken. We waited at least half an hour for our food and that is not an exaggeration. I was about to walk out and leave. The bartender just happen to hear me and went to the kitchen. Our food was ready a couple minutes later - surprise, surprise.
My date and I ordered the 3 for Me. You can pay 2.50 to upgrade from a soda to a domestic beer. I asked for Yuengling and was informed that the only beers they consider domestic are miller light, bud light, and some other beer I don’t like. Yuengling is definitely an American domestic beer. I was not happy with that cheap skateness. Ya’ll should be ashamed. My burger came out how I ordered it, but it was definitely mediocre compared to other chains that charge the same price. Furthermore, the bartender asked us if we wanted pink or no pink like the only two ways to make for our burgers. Like there are only two ways to make a burger, come on. So, my girl ordered her burger “as rare as it comes.” The chef came out with the food and looked her straight in the eyes and said “you ordered pink?” And handed it to her. This burger was the definition of well done. If we hadn’t waited so long to eat before coming to the restaurant and then waiting half an hour more, she would have sent it back. Heck, I told her to, but she is much sweeter than me and didn’t want to make a scene.
Last, but not least… the bar tender tonight. Total apathy. Never asked me if I wanted a refill until I was asking for my check. Not once. That’s over half an hour. Once we finished our tiny salads included in the meal, she didn’t even bother to pick up the bowls from the bar and we just had to push them away down the bar. What a waste to return here and I won’t make the same mistake three times.
ORIGINAL REVIEW TWO YEADS BEFORE UPDATE: They couldn’t bother to clean the floor of the booth. Manager skipped over us on the waiting list and lied when he said he notified us. I was right there the whole time and they are set up to text you and I was not sent a text. They did nothing to make this up to us. The food took way longer to come than the other Chili’s locations in the area. Go somewhere...
Read more0 STARS I want to write this simply, because If the staff at this restaurant were any indication of who this company hires then I know simplicity must be necessary for an understanding to be met.
Well to start we called around 1pm to see if we could make reservations for a party of 10 at 9:30pm. We were told they don't take reservations which is fine, but we were told they were going to take a "note" that we would be coming. Whatever that means. We also asked if 9:30pm would be an okay time considering the restaurant closes at 11pm. We were told this would be no problem.
Fast forward to 9:30pm we show up and ask for service. We are told there would be a 20 minute wait because the large tables were in use. We were also okay with this. Then 5 minutes later we have another worker come and tell us "you probably won't be seated tonight because we close in an hour, have sent most of our staff home and there aren't tablesure ready but I am going to check with my manager" we wait another 10 mins and decided to find somewhere else to go. My mother tells one of the workers that we are just going to leave since we hadn't been updated on the situation and the worker says "k" and walks away. My mother then tells her because of how her and another coworker acted we will be contacting corporate and leaving bad reviews. To that we were met with another "k".
Overall the two employees I interacted with were clearly incompetent.
Tell me why the restaurant was over half empty, there was another hour and a half til close and we couldn't be seated? Maybe if your workers actually understood they were working and not just there to stand around and wait to go home again they would have gained some extra business.
This review may be a little more heated than it should be, but you aren't going to talk to my mother that way or treat the people I was with in that manner. Calling tomorrow to speak to the manager and we have...
