I can only speak for my experience someone else's may have been different. I was referred to this place by a distant relative who used to live in the Raleigh area. We just moved here from Maryland in October. She swore by this nail salon. The location is not so desirable. It's tucked away in a not so well lit strip mall off of capital Blvd. The interior was not much greater. I was only able to take an exterior photo of the business itself because I didn't want to seem too obvious. There was a man that I'm thinking was a manager. He stood at the front as I entered. He did not greet me. I stood for a couple of minutes before I was acknowledged. The man paced the floor throughout the building the entire time. My nails although I liked the technician she was nice. But the presentation of the interior appeared very outdated, gloomy, antiquated, and uninviting. The price for what I got was a gel polish change was $25.00 which was about the average price these days. What I found rather alarming was also. They don't accept bank cards. It's cash or cash app ONLY. And if you do pay via cash app they charge you $2.00 in addition to what you pay for services for. No matter how small or large the amount. Please see photos attached. However Raleigh Durham seems to be a nice area so far. However I would not return to this salon nor being new to NC FROM Maryland would I recommend this salon unfortunately. I didn't feel safe when I had to go to the Cash points that was located across the parking lot near the salon. Again this was my experience. I'm sure there are many more salons to choose from just not this one. My business did not seem wanted. We work hard and prefer to patronize with businesses that want our business and present well to the general public in appearance and how customers are treated.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Do not and I repeat don’t get your eyebrows waxed there!!!! I went for a full set and eyebrow wax. I had never had my eyebrows done here before and biggggggggg mistake! After getting my services and leaving I noticed that my eyebrow area was hurting more than usual. I looked in the mirror and saw that I had been burned. I called and went back. The owner Tina looked at it and said what did she do and then all the other workers came and surrounded me. I felt like a freak show. Tina apologized, put ointment on it and said it should be healed in 2 weeks. She gave me $100 and some ointment to apply. My weekend plans were ruined because I looked a mess so I didn’t want to be seen outside. The following week I called and asked for her insurance information so I could file a claim, she refused and said I could hire a lawyer. She said by the time the court date, I would be healed up!!! Disgraceful! I will spend my money with black owned businesses from now on!!!!!!!!

Visiting from South Carolina for the weekend and wanted to get our feet done. Checked several other places and came here. Very friendly as soon as we came in, took us in even though they were only open for 30 more mins and it did nothing for the excellent service we received. She didn’t rush, took her time and it was wonderful. So super friendly and Tammy was the absolute sweetest! Prices reasonable (one of the only places we could find that didn’t charge extra on top of manicure to remove gel polish and paint back gel polish)! Very glad this is the one we chose.

I reached out to the owner, Tina, per her request in response to my review. She asked me to come back and she would take care of me for free to make up for my last experience. Turns out the lady I had before was here on a trial basis and is no longer with the company. Tina was amazing! She did a fabulous job on my new set of gel nails and she was soooo understanding. She was actually relieved that I came back in because she wanted to make things right for me. And I so appreciate it. She’s awesome! Come see her if it’s your first time here. You won’t regret it!

Thank you Tina! I love my nails!!! I’ll be back for sure!

I scheduled an appointment as a first time customer. I let the technician know I want medium length nails. She does great with adding the tips and everything. She cut the pinky nail to show me the length and it was good. Somehow with all the filing and cutting, I ended up with super short nails instead of medium length. Even though I told her I don’t like short nails. I think she knew she messed up with that because after she filed them down and cut them, she looked at me and asked if it was ok. Well I didn’t like the length but we already put them on and I was on a time crunch because I had my baby at home with a family member. Then I was cut about 3 times with that drilling machine thing. She just kept saying sorry. Then at the end, I was charged $50 instead of the $45 they first told me it would cost. And I have no idea why. I didn’t ask. I need to get home to my baby. I also didn’t know that don’t take credit cards. I asked her at the end. I now know to ask places that question when I call. So with tip, I paid $60 for super short full set gel nails and 3 painful cuts 😩 Not sure if I...

After years of getting my nails done with Tina, I won't be back. I had an event to be at tonight and I wanted my nails done by her. She told me if I came in and got a pedicure and waited for her she could do my nails. While getting a pedicure she came up to me and tells me that she won't be doing my nails somebody would have to do them. I'm very picky when it comes to my nails. She's the only person in the shop that actually does a GREAT job and considering the fact that I wanted certain designs and I know that I was going to be spending at least $100 for my nails, I'm not letting just anybody do my nails. I guess she got an attitude at the fact that I was irritated that she cancelled on me last minute because she then decides to tell me in front of the whole shop that she won't be doing my nails anymore. This was upsetting because I've been a LOYAL customer at this shop. I even went to her for my nails during the pandemic and this is how she treats me? They just lost a loyal customer forever. If you're reading this, go spend your money where not just one stylist does a great job and you can receive good customer service cause I'm tired of this ghetto place and Tina ghetto rude attitude. I dealt with her cause I loved the way she does nails but her attitude is very rude and nasty. It's been plenty of times other customers had a problem with her cause of the way she simply talks. Sometimes you walk in there and the staff doesn't even say hello or how are you. This place sucks and I'm...
