I usually do not do this, but I am posting this after a very disappointing experience with Domino’s pizza. Below is what I sent to their customer service, which is just a chat box on the corporate web site. How we have digressed as a civilization, they do not even have a “real person” to take customer phone calls.
I am very disappointed with the Demino’s at: 3677 New Bern Ave, Raleigh, NC 27610. I could not place and order on-line with the store. I received an error code from the web site, “could not place order, please try again in a few moments, or call the store (store phone number)”. After several attempts to place an order, that failed, I called the restaurant and was placed on hold not once but twice! When someone did answer the phone, he asked if he could put me on hold once more, I told him I had been on hold for almost 30 minutes already, the only thing he said to me was “I have an oven full of stuff and I need help” so, the conversation ended there, and he did not help me in any manner. I have ordered from this location before and never had any problems. So, because it is Friday night and we are in the middle of COVID-19, is that is a reason for a huge lack in customer service? I have worked in a number of service-related industries and no matter how “bad” our day was going we never forgot that customer service was our first priority. I find it very sad that during times like this that customer service falls off of Domino’s pizza priority as a company. They are using COVID-19 as an excuse for poor customer service. I know that the people working these jobs are working very hard and I appreciate and respect that. I am grateful that they are there, and I know they are doing their best. (I have been there as well!), but really, they can not take two minutes to even talk to someone?? Has customer service really fallen that far? The pre-recording tells people to go online and order, but if you have tried and the company website is broken, you wait on hold for almost 30 minutes, what should you do? You order from door dash, or someplace else.
Unfortunately, I do not think I will order from Domino’s pizza anymore and I know this concern will most likely go unanswered. I will be sure to follow up with every review site and social media site that I can. I have to leave the chat now, as I have ordered from a more reliable restaurant and my order has arrived, no error on the web site, and no waiting on hold for 20 minutes, just to be placed on hold again, and not helped. Read moreMy experience with dominos was unforgettable I moved from Durham to Raleigh and the one in Durham is always better but this one in Raleigh terrible first customer Service was horrible second didn't apologize for messing up my whole order my pizza was cold when I received it the pizza was over cooked my bread twist was still doughy and they forgot my marinara sauce especially when I paid for extra and forgot my fruit punch minute maid I indeed let the driver know cause I always check my food and he told me to call the store cause on the pizza box it said not satisfied with your order we will make it right so I call the store and person who answered was rude first and then tried to blame me cause "like it was my fault for the messed food" and he put me on hold for 45 minutes just to tell me he talk to his supervisor and there is nothing they can do and then hung up the phone so I kept calling they keep hanging up and the told me to not call back again so I called the next to try to explain to the new supervisor on what happened they told me why did I wait so long I'm like you didn't hear my story and they told me there nothing they can do since I waited to call and I was like I called yesterday but before I could say it they hung up on me not ordering this dominos place ever ever again if you want bad customer service and to be told that your a liar then this place is perfect for you if I could give them...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. I had the worst experience with a take out order that I’ve ever had. I placed the order sitting in front of the restaurant and it immediately asked me to check in once I arrived. I got the message that said the order would be ready between 1632 and 1642. Well at 1657 I entered the restaurant to inquire about why the order wasn’t ready. The man working (two other female employees in the restaurant) had an extremely bad attitude and said I hadn’t checked in on the app because his screen didn’t show it. When I showed him that I had checked in and the time it said the food would be ready then he made excuses and said it would be ready in like 3 mins. I said I was just asking a question as to why it wasn’t ready when the app clearly had a time that it would be ready. I had to go to work and would be late if it wasn’t ready. He kept talking about all the pizzas he had to make and he was doing so by himself. He stood there and continued to argue so I simply told him to go make his pizzas while I waited for mine. He got mad and canceled my order. So now I waited for 40 mins with no food before work. This is a horrible place to try and get food and the attitude of the employee was horrible as well.
