I’m honestly so bummed writing this because this used to be my absolute favorite pizza spot. The pizza here was always fresh, with a fluffy, hand-stretched crust and amazing flavor. Recently though, something has definitely changed — the crust is flat and cracker-like, the cheese is awful tasting/ doesn’t have that same bubbly texture, and overall it just tastes like a totally different pizza. Honestly tasted worse than a frozen boxed pizza. I even called to ask if anything had changed, and was told no, but it doesn’t look or taste the same as it used to (and I’ve been a loyal customer long enough to know the difference). I hope they go back to the old recipe, because this place used to be the best around. Ive never once had a bad experience there, until today. Really disappointed.

This used to be our favorite spot for authentic NY-style pizza. Unfortunately, they have new owners and everything has gone downhill. We order the same three things each time so we are aware of the quality and taste. This past experience became our last. We get home to see that we paid for an extremely overcooked and burnt pizza. The garlic knots were were tough and lacked garlic/flavor. The mozzarella sticks weren't how they normally were. I then look at the bank statement the next morning to see the pending charge "New Owners", which then explained everything. The fact that they were ok sending us on our way with the pizza alone says a lot about quality control/ lack of caring. We won't be back to this spot which is a shame since we raved about this spot for YEARS.

Overall Rating: 0/10 This place falls short on many levels, with the most significant problem being a blatant disregard for customer respect. It's a situation where the lack of care for customer service is apparent, making it impossible to recommend. Service: 0/10 The counter staff appeared to be having a difficult day, displaying irritation and busyness. However, this does not excuse the rudeness encountered, especially towards phone customers, giving the impression that customer inquiries were an inconvenience. Additionally, receiving a burnt pizza that was carelessly flipped on its side upon delivery only further demonstrated a lack of attention to customer satisfaction

I've been a Gino's fan and have recommended them to others for many many years. I haven't been there in a while and decided to bring the family a few pizza's last night for dinner. First off, I called ahead to get the pies started, I got there on time to pick up my order and the order was made incorrectly. They offered up the wrong pizza half price (which didn't include the toppings I ordered) and made a new one while I waited and while the other pie was sitting/getting tough on the oven. As I stood there waiting I made sure to ask if both the pies were extra crispy and they assured me they were (they were NOT even close to crispy as they used to be). I have to say, from the service, to the ingredients, to the overall quality of the food that I was used to at Gino's, it was a HUGE let down and an expensive mistake ($70 for two large pies and 4 Cannoli's) I made going back there. Did the original Gino's owner...

I am writing this review on behalf of a friend who had recently patroned Gino’s. Not only did she say their pizza was delicious, but she had a conversation with the staff and managers about a controversial local event that was being advertised in the pizzeria. Rather than dismissing her to move the line along, the staff at Gino’s listened to her, digested the education she offered, and made changes in their establishment to support the cause. Not only is this a FANTASTIC pizza joint, it is an integral part of the small business community in Raleigh with exceptional customer service that aligns with their high quality food. As a native long islander, I am quite confident in my abilities to determine where good pizza exists in Raleigh, and for folks looking for delicious pizza with the best quality customer service, look no further...

This has been my go to pizza place for years but my last order here was bad. I asked for supreme pizza but to keep a couple toppings to just one side of it since my wife doesn't like those. The guy taking the order understood since I confirmed it a couple times but they ended up only making a half supreme with the toppings we didn't want on the other half. I confirmed on the phone when I called back about the wrong size and toppings. They said they would remake it but they messed the toppings up again but got the size right. I had to drive back and return the wrong sized pizza as well. If they told me they can't do that I would have been fine and just removed the toppings but this was a terrible experience. I have seen the other reviews mention an ownership change so that might explain...
