I've worked in McDonald's restaurants acroos the country and this has to be one of the worst.
Waited in line at the drive thru to order 2 drinks. The employee said their drink machine was down. First time in my life I've ever heard that. Then he said we could come in and get drinks.
Now a customer oriented staff would fill the drive thru drink orders from the dine-in fountain. You know, have someone stop wiping trays and just have them fill drinks.
I spoke to the manager, not really but the shift runner, and immediately understood the problem. I told her that after I had to wait in line twice to get 2 drinks that they should be free. In one of the most hateful ways I've ever been addressed by a McDonald's team member she said "I can't give away 2 free drinks." I know this is b.s. and I told her that wasn't very good customer service. In the same hateful tone she pointed to a plaque that said "1020 Enterprises" and said "If you got a problem with it you can call that number"
I bought the drinks and called the number but they hide behind an answering machine. I left a message but doubt I will get a reply.
I don't particularly like Chick-fil-A but I guarantee they would have had an employee standing outside in the drive thru telling people the issue.
McDonald's needs to pull this franchise and let corporate or a more capable franchisee take over. Couldn't tell you about the food and I never will be able to because I will never eat here again.
Do yourself a favor and drive a few more miles. This place isn't really even worth my...
Read moreHad a very poor experience today at this McDonald’s, I come by ALL THE TIME, literally was there yesterday. I came and bought food, received my order but since I am low on money I decided to use my same drink I bought yesterday and refill it. Mind you I am a paying customer who is a regular and I simply walked back in to refill my drink and this Hispanic lady who I would assume is the manager of this location begins to harass me about paying for a new cup. Now why would I do that when I already have one and I ALWAYS BUY FOOD consistently from here. Also not to mention she was telling me “You will pay for a new cup” ummm who is she talking to? I wasn’t bothering no one within this establishment. Very much ruined my day as well as my morning. It’s very sad to see a manager get so disturbed by a $1.79 cup when McDonald’s makes a billion dollars a year. Talk about a money hungry manager that doesn’t even benefit in anyway from this interaction with myself nor does that small $1.79 goes to her paycheck. With problems like their drinks machine not staying carbonated and their ice cream machine not working, I would think there would be more important things to put focus into instead of a $1.79 cup. How about put in some work orders and get your equipment fixed that probably cost thousands of dollars. Talk about a miserable human being. Hoping this reaches management above her pay grade and a discussion is had with this woman. She is lightskin, very short, straight hair in a bun, with a...
Read moreRecently moved to raleigh, and this location is right down the street, so it's convenient late night. I typically use the drive thru, but tonight was the last straw. I mean, I understand it's a fast food restaurant, but it's not that hard to put food in a bag and hand people the correct order. Whoever they have at the 2nd window (She said her name was Viola, which probably isn't the correct name) has an attitude every single time I come to the window. It's not like I ordered the whole menu it's a kids' meal, and I may order something for myself, but it's never big. I never get the correct drink, never get any sauce it's like I got to ask for everything. I have worked for a McDonald's before, and I know it's a screen that tells you everything the person is ordering. Tonight, I was missing everything, and I'm just fed up with this location. I'll drive the extra mile or 2 for some friendly service because you're not going to get it at this location. The food is okay. I mean, it's McDonald's can really...
