McDonald's — Restaurant in Raleigh

I remember a long time ago when McDonald's was really really good. We always look forward to going and having a delicious meal and a reasonable price.

I don't know what's happened but the last time I went to McDonald's burger fries and a drink is getting a lot closer to $15 and five dollars. They used to give you refills on drinks and now they look at me like I'm a criminal if I ask him to top off my Coca-Cola or hit me up with a little bit more ice. Catch up as simply not to be found on the premises. If you get in line and you have to get in line to ask for catchup they give you a pack. One single pack of ketchup. That's it. You can't hope to cover a large french fry with a single pack of ketchup I'm really sorry. And you gotta do something to mitigate the salt. I don't know who goes crazy with the salt shaker but it's unbelievably salty. And my french fries were cold but they weren't hot either I remember we used to go to McDonald's we always get piping hot french fries. And it was the rockstar on the menu for a buck. Now it's close to five dollars for french fries. And you get one ketchup. And they're so salty It's just not good anymore. And I'm disappointed you know McDonald's used to be as American as apple pie and Chevrolet but not anymore. The one that I can't say about McDonald's every single time ago the bathrooms are really really clean. And that's fantastic I remember when you used to be able to judge a restaurant by the Bathroom at McDonald's was phenomenal loved it. Every single time the bathrooms were spotless but not you know get some. I don't know. They're not bad that's probably the highlight quarter pounders were never my thing but they're better than big Macs are now so what I'd recommend you probably are gonna have to go and check out because it's appears that some McDonald's are better than others. i had to edit my rating 01.26.23 - they have renovated the dining area and kitchen. While the ambience is nice it's inconvenient when placing a special request order and having the request fulfilled. I ordered a special request on my beverage and checked the indicator box on the kiosk. Knowing that I had to explain my request, I patienly waited for a staff member to call my number so I could relay it. After about 3 min, my number was called and my drink was on the tray - no one asked what the special request was. When I relayed this to the staffer, she stated the person who made the order said he already knew what the request was - that was impossible since no came to ask me what it was. Rather than waste the drink already made, I told the staffer I will take it but next time the person making the order should check what the special request was. The maker lied and that does not sit well with me. As I'm writing my review I can hear someone else at the counter having an issue with a special order. I think this location had better success under the old kitchen style where the staff could communicate quickly with the customers. Therefore I will reduce my rating to 3 stars. |||| ((Original rating- Quick service and friendly staff. Mary took my order and greeted me in a warm, genuine manner. She's been at that location for several years and is top-notch when it comes to customer service. I don't get a chance to visit this location often but when I do, I'm always treated well and I've never had any problems with the food...

Today 8/2/17 @10:00 my drive thru experience has left me with such an unpleasant experience that I will no longer use this store. The drive thru seemed to be used as a reserved parking lot for over sized trucks and trailers leaving new patrons confused as to if the trucks waiting in the drive thru lane....nope he wasnt...sat and waited for 5 mins to find that out....ok issue one. Then comes the decision to pick the speaker....lol...do i go right where all the others cars are being expedited rather quickly or go left where they dont seem to be moving....thats because someone who has never been to a mcdonalds before is askin every question possible...nope i go right.....lol guess what lane then comes to a halt for another 10 mins....yup not exadurating time either.....15 mins so far in line and still havent gotten an order in....simple order at that..2 caramel frapes...lol.... I finally get my order in..time in line to handing card to teller... 22mins now. Ok....... So i pay drive to the next window and get asked to pull forward they will bring my order out to me.....gotta wait 5 more mins for 2 frapes......just 2 frapes...no food...just drinks... Almost 30 mins is outrageous and such a disrespectful tactic to use...as time to some folks are important and waiting 30 mins for 2 drinks at a fast food restraunt is beyond...
