After my very first visit, which involved an incorrect order, I looked at my receipt for the number and was surprised to see that it said to call or text the number. I chose to text the number out of curiosity and after a very short time, I received a reply from who I can only assume, with some certainty, was the owner of this particular restaurant. After a few more texts he/she offered to replace the meal at my convenience. I went in the next evening, as I am staying in a hotel about a 3 minute walk from here and it is convenient after 10 hours of skilled, manual labor. I was told that the manager on duty was on break so I waited......and waited.....and waited some more. I finally stepped back to the counter and a young man came to see what I needed. When I explained the situation and showed him the text messages, he offered to help. It was time for me to go so I asked him to just ring me up for a meal for tonight and I would come back the following evening to get the free meal. He said to me "I'm going to keep this new receipt so that I can remember you and I will make sure that you are taken care of". That young man's name is Khamari and I want to commend him for his spectacular customer service and his friendly and positive attitude. Thank you Khamari for what I believe is the absolute best customer service that I have EVER experienced in a fast food restaurant. I have already mentioned to the owner that I would like for you to receive some kind of recognition for your display of something this world needs a lot more of. Kudos to the owner for keeping a nice establishment and for hiring a fantastic team of employees and a BIG THANK YOU to the team for doing a...
Read moreMcDonalds are not known for the most excellent customer service. However, people don't typically go to McDonald's because they are expecting the kind of high quality service that places like Chick Fil A or Starbucks provide. People go to McDonald's because it is fast, cheap, and convenient. This McDonald's location is exceptionally bad (at least when it comes to the drive thru service). Most times when I come to this location, the wait times are extremely long, I am asked to pull to the side when there is no one in front of me in the line, and orders are often incorrect. This evening I placed a mobile order and attempted to pick it up through the drive thru. No one greeted me when I pulled up to the speaker. I waited 10 minutes, tried to get an employees' attention, no response. I then pulled up the the first window and could see an employee walking inside the restaurant. The employee never acknowledged me. I waited another ten minutes. After waiting for 20 minutes in total, I drove back around to the speaker box and I was greeted with an employee saying that the, "McDonalds is down for maintenance and will be opened for breakfast." I asked the employee if I could get a refund for my order, she repeated herself, and spoke over me. I am not sure why I wasn't told before or during my 20 minute wait that the store was down for maintenance. I later realized that I could cancel the order within the app itself but the employee was not helpful or attentive in the least. The drive thru service at this McDonald's is appalling and that is for McDonald's...
Read moreI have had multiple terrible experiences at this location, but the last straw was last night when I drove up at about 10:30 on a Saturday night the day after 4/20. There was a man standing in the middle of the road to the entrance in a complete daze, obviously on some sort of trip. He didn't move and I managed to get my small car around him and got in one of the drive thru lines. After pulling up to the machine, I was met with a solid 5 minutes of radio silence. Aggravated, I pull around to the second drive thru where a line had started to form. I should have paid attention with my windows down, as I noticed after 15 minutes of being the 3rd person in line, the second machine was also off and the only movement the line had was when the customer at the machine had expended their patience and left. By the time I realized that the annoyed body language from other customers was the same result as mine at the other machine, it was too late to back up and leave since so many people were in line. After getting out of line, I was heading to a different Mc Donalds and noticed the drugged up man was still standing in the middle of the entrance, and there was a man asleep on the patio/ outdoor eating area. This location feels very unsafe with so many questionable characters wandering around, and the management is clearly non existent. Save yourself some time and either go to another location, or save yourself the calories and eat at any...
