I recently had the pleasure of trying the desserts at Meet Fresh, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making the ordering process a breeze.
The menu at Meet Fresh offers a wide variety of dessert options, ranging from traditional Taiwanese shaved ice to herbal jelly and taro Mochi balls. I decided to try their signature desserts, crispy egg waffle and shaving ice, as well as the brown sugar bubble tea, they were all phenomenal, see pics as attached! I highly recommend them!!
The presentation of the dessert was beautiful, with vibrant colors and a generous portion size. The shaved ice was light and fluffy, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. Each bite was a delightful combination of textures and tastes, with the sweetness of the red beans balancing perfectly with the chewiness of the taro balls.
What impressed me the most about Meet Fresh was the attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients. The desserts were not overly sweet, allowing the natural flavors to shine through. The taro balls were made in-house and had a perfect consistency, not too soft or too firm.
In addition to the Meet Fresh Special, I also tried their herbal jelly, which was a refreshing and light dessert option. The herbal jelly had a subtle herbal flavor that was not overpowering, and it was served with a sweet syrup that complemented it perfectly.
Last but not least, I absolutely love the environment as all these beautiful green plants! Makes me feel super cozy!!
Overall, my experience at Meet Fresh was exceptional. The desserts were delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. I highly recommend trying Meet Fresh if you are looking for a unique...
Read moreIt was a hot summary nc-type day and we wanted something called to eat someone's interested we try this Taiwanese dessert place restaurant. We were glad that we did!
Both the food and the decor are distinctly Taiwanese. Chinese writing is located in different spots around the facility. The food is presented in an extravagant manner. We ordered the mango milk shaved ice dish, it came out as a sort of small mountain festooned with mango pieces across its slopes and a dollop of ice cream on the peak. It looked and tasted delicious. We also ordered a passion fruit sorbet, which came in a regular-sized plastic cup. They gave us small bowls of boba toppings that we could add to our dishes. There is a computerized cotton candy machine situated against one wall. They offer a Taiwanese version of waffles, they have their own waffle maker, but we did not try this.
Seating is indoor or outdoor, we chose to sit indoor period the restaurant is very clean. The staff were friendly and explained to us a little bit about the...
Read moreWe have tried Meet Fresh in Phoenix AZ and found the two comparable but not consistent in how the same dishes are made. In Phoenix the shaved ice is finer and melts in your mouth, in Raleigh it's ice chips. In Phoenix the ice cream is close to 30% of the mix dish items with fruit, shaved ice and ice cream, in Raleigh it's at 5% or less with a small scoop on top. The flavor is delicious and we enjoy the new waffle products! Service was slow in the Raleigh store and customers who came in 15 min after us were served before us, not sure if there is an issue with procedures or what. We enjoyed our experience and recommend trying out Meet Fresh in any city they have a store. Overall a unique product and a good variety of cool and warm dishes. Taipei Taiwan has a few of the same style shops throughout the city if you ever make it...
