My 21 year old daughter went to this place to get her acrylic nails taken off. She has a personal nail tech but something unexpected came up and her tech was not able to do her nails.The sign on their flyer stated that nail take off was $10, the lady that did her nails (which was also the owner) also told her PRIOR to taking her nails off that it would be $10. After taking her nails off, the lady then told her that it would be $15. I was in another part of the mall getting some last minute things for the grand opening of my daughterâs business and had to put that on hold because she called me upset because the lady had lied to her and was insisting on making her pay something other than what she was told and what was advertised. People may say, âWell itâs only five extra dollarsâ, but thatâs not the point. This was false advertisement and on top of that, the lady had the nerve to try to belittle my daughter and had the nerve that she had customers in the store and to not say anything else. Thatâs when I intervened and told her that I didnât care how many customers she had in thereâŚmy daughter was not talking loud and she was going to treat her with the same respect as any other customer and that she WOULD NOT tell my daughter not to say anything else, she had a valid complaint and it was the owners responsibility to take care of it instead of treating my daughter like she did. So eventually she only charged my daughter the $10 but little does she know, Iâve taught my daughter to always tip people generously when they do right by youâŚso if the âownerâ would have did right by her, I know my daughter wouldâve given her at least a $10 tip. So in the end, you wouldâve gotten $20 instead of the $15 that you had tried to overcharge my daughter. My daughter is a young, black, successful 21 year old young lady that gave up a full scholarship to college to pursue her dream and is well on her way to making multiple six figures this year. Your your lesson today is to never judge a book by its cover, because you were definitely wrong about my daughter today, and her mother because I do not play about my children. We will never have anything to do with this place again!    Read moreWish i could give zero stars!!!! This is the worst nail salon I have ever been to! They have the absolute worst costumer service. I went in for a gel manicure, the lady doing my nails handed me the color options and literally 2 minutes later asked if I decided what color I wanted, I said no and she said "hurry up, we have a lot of other people waiting". for one, I am a paying customer just like anyone else and two, there are other people waiting but there is no nail tech available for them anyway! I should have got up out of the chair at that point. However, I stayed and the lady proceeded to do my nails. she insulted how poor my nails looked and then started filing and trimming my cuticles. This lady dug into my skin, I kept pulling away and she kept saying " I am helping you, you have a lot of skin". YES skin that is supposed to stay on my nails. I was with a friend and did not want to cause a scene in front of her. I paid, left a two dollar tip (shouldn't have left any) and left. That night and the next day, my nails ached! I have had many manicures in my life and this has never happened to be before. They were red and painful to touch. I decided to go back the next night. At this point a refund wouldn't help my situation but I felt it was the least they could do. I explained to the manager what happened and she said "do you want me to take the polish off", I said no then I would have no nails at all because they were so thin. She then said why didn't I say something when it was occurring. the lady that did my nails then walked over and spoke with me, she was very rude and was blaming me. They were both very rude and not understanding at all. I said I want a refund. the manager told me to wait, I waited for 10 minutes and then said, what am I waiting for. it will literally take you 2 seconds to hand me my money back. she wanted a receipt, this was a joke right. haha after arguing for about 10 minutes, she finally gave me my money back. she said "sorry".    Read moreI don't usually do reviews, but after my last experience at this place, I feel that I would be doing a disservice to others if I didn't let them know what goes on here. I have several issues with this salon:
The staff is utterly RUDE. They either don't talk to you or they insult you. I went to get my nails done and I asked for the coffin shape. She said she couldn't do it that shape because my nails were too short. My nails were actually long (at least a half inch past the fingertip). I explained to her that I had them filed into that shape many times before when they were much shorter. She ignored me and shaped them square after I asked her not to. Also, one day, I asked if the girl who usually does my eyebrows was working, but I couldn't remember her name. I pointed to the room that she does them in and the tech screamed something to her in Vietnamese. The girl I was referring to came to me, looked at me and said "I don't do your brows. I don't remember you. It doesn't matter who does your brows, ma'am." I said that it wasn't necessary to approach me because I didn't care who did my brows, I was just asking a question.
They are careless. My cuticles have been cut more than once because they rush through the job (Which I don't understand because they don't have THAT much business). The last time I went, which was a few weeks ago, the tech cut my skin while she was filing and it started to bleed. She acted as if it was nothing and continued to do my nails without asking if it hurts or offering any apologies. I was disgusted. I was less worried about the pain as much I was about the possibility of infection. She didn't seem to care. That was my last straw.
They are dirty. At one of my most recent visits, I saw two small roaches travel across the front waiting area.
It goes without saying that I've since found another salon. I'd rather drive farther than deal with such horrible service. Don't waste your time...
