Went in on a busy Saturday (right after black friday) to pick up a pop I paid for online for instore pick up. It was busy and chaotic in there. I stood in what I thought was the line (there was only one line at the time) for what had to be about 10 minutes without any movement. Then when I noticed another line forming I raised my hand and asked what was up with the line situation as it was clear that the employees had lost all control. Mind you I didn't ask with an attitude and made it a point to use very neutral language as to not upset anyone but to also make them aware that things were getting out of hand.
The short haired young Caucasian woman responded with I don't know, which was kind of shocking...isn't it your job to know where the line is at least supposed to be. So I pushed back and informed her that when I came into the store this is where the line was and that myself and the people infront of me had been waiting a while to be served. I guess around that time the manager came out and the same employee very sarcastically started talking about the line situation. Seriously? Ma'am if anything I'm trying help you out. Anyway the manager pulls me to the front to get my pop so I straight say look tell the young lady I'm sorry if I offended her but I was just asking what was going on and where we should be if we want service.
The comes some guy with a knee brace talking about retail employees not wanting to be yelled at. One I wasn't yelling at any of you. I'm in the back of the line in the back of the store. How the hell else are you going to hear me if I don't raise my voice. Second, wasn't nobody talking to you. Mind your business, and get your ass in the back and regulate that line.
Look, it's a tough weekend I get it, but getting upset about someone asking where the line starts is crazy. At the very least you should know how you want the line regulated is the bare minimum. I suggest you guys especially your management team prepare better...
Read moreSo I’ve always had a positive experience at this location but recently these guys helped me out so much that I just had to write a review. So long story short, I have TMJ, basically my jaw is in pain all the time and when I game with my over-ear head phones it really puts pressure on my jaw and causes me so much pain I usually can only play games for a couple hours before it hurts too much. I was casually talking with the guys working (I truly wish I remembered their names so sorry) when they mentioned the Atrix E-series pro wireless headset. They let me try a pair on and it was the lightest headset I have ever put on and could tell immediately that this wasn’t going to cause my jaw to flair up. I have literally gone through 10 different headsets (paid over 500 bucks trying different headsets) only to always have this issue. While they didn’t a pair at the store they could sell me they went the extra mile and let me know of every store in a 5 mile radius that had the E-series. I was able to pick one up and for the first time I was able to game without being in pain. The sound quality was amazing, and they only cost me 50 bucks. Sorry for such a long review but thank you guys so much for taking the time and going the extra mile. It truly has meant the world and I just can’t...
Read moreWent in to pick up a new game yesterday. I greeted the employee by saying, "Hey, how are you?". He literally responded with a shoulder shrug. I found this extremely displeasing. As a business owner, this is uncalled for, there's no excuse for bringing your dirty laundry to someone else's business. Gamestop is probably only a few years away from deterioration with the evolution of digital downloads. I choose to come to Gamestop because they are generally the most enthusiastic employees with a game passion far beyond mine, it makes it fun to hear their opinions on what games to pick up next. This guy had a mohawk that was dyed blue and forearm tattoos, I'm only describing him because he wasn't wearing a name tag. The way he composed himself was beyond distasteful. It was my first visit to this particular Gamestop, (I usually go to Brier Creek and they are fantastic) and it'll definitely be my last. I hate to leave a bad rating on a business due to one employee although the manager was right beside him. The store is also...
