My fiancé got my engagement ring here back in 2014 and we haven't gone any where else since. From the very beginning, Richard helped my fiancé out with picking the ring, getting the best coverage, best price and value for his purchase. We've been back and gotten our wedding bands from them now. Every time we go in, they are all super kind, accommodating, and patient with us (especially because I am quite indecisive). Whether we are coming in to pick something new, alter what we already have, get a cleaning, or just have some questions, they always go above and beyond to help us out. I am currently altering my wedding band to include some emeralds in it and we are recasting my engagement ring in white gold. Richard, Daniel, Jane, and the whole crew have been so kind and patient while I figure out exactly what I want, explore all the options, and change my mind several times. Last Tuesday, Daniel spent at least an hour helping us get our plans in motion and purchase my fiancés wedding band. Then on Thursday, Richard spent at least another hour just going over the options again and allowing me to change the design plan for my wedding band several times. We are always so welcomed and comfortable every time we go in. I always know I'm getting the best help, best product, and best value for our purchases. Read moreSal made this by far the most stressful purchase experience I've ever had. I needed the ring by a specific date for a an engagement in another country. I was told multiple different dates the ring would be ready. I was told all the components (band, diamond, head) for the ring were in house, then that it was done and would be there the next day, then that they never actually had the parts but would have them soon. Then finally get there to pick it up and the wrong size was ordered after being told in person AND in writing via follow up text. Then the sizing was supposed to take an hour, but it was actually next day. Then I finally went to pick it up and it’s not even the right ring! This is a paper-thin imitation of what I ordered. The gold is less than half the thickness around the entirety of the band. Sal’s excuse for this was “I didn’t sell you an exact ring, I sold you the idea of what a ring could look like.” When I took the ring to another Reeds location, the manager commented on how thin and bent the band was, how obnoxiously tall the setting was, and how there were marks on the prongs from whatever pliers were used to hold it. I have had this ring in my possession for less than two weeks and it has already cracked! Unbelievably unprofessional. Photo shows the band I was promised next to the band I received. My mother and I were working with an older man at the store (I think his name might have been Wayne) who did not listen to our preferences. We were specifically looking for a filigree engraved band - either they have bands to show us of that design or not. The man kept showing us similar bands that we didn't like and was unwilling to show us any other kinds of designs. He got exasperated and said that he doesn't know what we want or are looking for, so we continued to browse on our own. The man then proceeded to tell a female colleague that, "those people can't afford our jewelry anyways." The only thing this man had to go off of was that we spoke Spanish to each other. We can infer that he was prejudicely referring to our ethnicity as to why we could not "afford" their jewelery - to be clear, the price of their jewelry was of no concern to us. No, we will not purchase their jewelry because of the type of employees they keep. But we absolutely could afford their jewelry thank you very much and our ethnic background has nothing to do with it. I'm irate to know that someone not only holds such racist views in our day and age, but has the gaw to say so out loud in front of the customers to which they are referring.
