The Cupcake Shoppe Bakery + Coffee — Restaurant in Raleigh

First of all, just let me say The Cupcake Shoppe Bakery really went above and beyond my expectations. We had spent several weeks starting back in July inquiring with different bakeries, (who rarely responded or didn’t respond at all, or were just not inviting) so I would have a special cake for my niece’s 1st birthday in September. From the 1st email sent they were so nice and welcoming, which we thought would surely be short lived, but in fact it wasn’t it was throughout the entire process/pickup and even afterwards. Sara/Team took our vision and turned them into a masterpiece & even offered their ideas since my niece is allergic to dairy. Communication was fast, personal and the entire process went so smoothly, once we confirmed that is what we wanted, we paid, got a receipt and I even added cake pops and it was so seamless. Our pickup was this past Saturday, we pulled up at the window, stood maybe 2 minutes, got to the window our order was waiting, she even helped us load it up, we signed the slip and were on our way! I feel their services are super affordable, especially for the quality and customer service that they provide. Our tiered cake was so yummy, the cake pops were so smooth and creamy and even the vegan cake was just so fluffy & yummy. Everyone enjoyed it & didn’t want to cut the cake because it was so beautiful. Review March 2023:

I'm back with another wonderful review of The Cupcake Shoppe Bakery. On March 4, 2023, our twin grandsons celebrated their first birthday. I provided the staff with the theme and colors and boy, did they deliver. They made the most beautiful two-tiered cake, two individual smash cakes, and matching cupcakes. Party guests were wowed and our grandson devoured their smash call. This past weekend, my husband and I celebrated our birthdays with a joint celebration. Again, The Cupcake Shoppe delivered!! They were spot-on with our design inspiration. The Cupcake Shoppe will always be our preferred bakery due to the level of professionalism, kindness, great-tasting and beautiful cakes. They ALWAYS exceed our expectations.

Review April 2022: The Cupcake Shoppe Bakery is my go-to bakery. My most recent order was especially special because it was for my 40th birthday. I requested a tall, square cake with matching cookies and cupcakes. Usually, I'll email or call the bakery with design inspiration and each time, without fail, they deliver, usually exceeding my expectations. Their designs are always clean and designed to perfection. We ordered a cake for my wife’s birthday, and Arlen was so patient and accommodating. Everything went smoothly, from the ordering process to the payment process. When we went to go pick up the cake, the staff was just as kind. The shop is beautiful, by the way, with elegant details and a vintage cash register on the counter. They even serve specialty coffee, which I will for sure be getting next time! They asked my name and went to go get the cake while we looked around and decided which other single serve goodies we wanted to try. My wife knew what I had ordered, but when they brought the cake out, she audibly gasped and was so excited! We left with a lemon cupcake, a cinnamon roll and two cold sodas. The lemon cupcake was delicious, with a lemon custard filling and the frosting piled high. But let me tell you… that cinnamon roll is the best cinnamon roll I’ve ever had. It’s buttery and flaky like a croissant, it had a generous amount of delicious cream cheese icing, and was dusted with what looked like cinnamon sugar. Oh man.
