Adalberto's Méxican Food Restaurant — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

The food here is great the service I'd have to say is questionable. I ate here yesterday, March 30, 2018. As I get out of my truck I see a poster in the window that says Burrito Combo includes rice and beans and a small drink. So I stroll in and tell the girl at the counter I'd like to get a burrito combo. She asks me which burrito and I say the Super Burrito. She tells me we don't do a combo with the Super Burrito. So I ask what burrito do you do the combo with? Is it any of the other ones listed,and she says yes. So I order the Pollo Assada burrito combo. When my order is called and I come up to get it there is no cup. The girl asks me what I need and I tell her a cup to which she says oh you want a drink? And I said yes the combo comes with a small drink and she says No you ordered the burrito special. I walk back over and look at the poster and it says burrito combo includes small drink I pull out my receipt and it says burrito combo on it. I tell her this and she says no you ordered the burrito special. At this point I've had enough of this BS so I order a drink and pay for it. This was total and absolute BS. Either make your advertising more clear or honor what it says. This is the last time I eat at this place because of the crappy service but again the food...

I was starving and it was getting late. That type of late where most of the decent fast food places close before 10pm.. I didn't want Taco Bell or Jack in the Box because I have been eating a plant-based and pescaterian diet since August and these places have little to offer vegetarian style food. remembered that one thing I really like from Adalberto's is there beans & rice. I only get a few things when I go to get food from here. I used to get their chicken enchilada plate but, I haven't been eating chicken... I remembered that I kinda liked the fish tacos without their white sauce on top plus it isn't tilapia or Catfish the fish types that I avoid as much as possible. I ended up being greedy ordering a fish taco plate, a churro, and although I quit drinking soda many years ago I will often order a pineapple Jarrito soda when I go out and have Mexican Food. I just wanted to say the customer service was great, the food was on point, and I was full & satisfied. The only thing is everything adds up so fast but, I know it's food inflation so, I just roll with it. Oh, I also wouldn't mind if they decided to have a non-breaded fish option but, nevertheless, my needs were met & it was a good...

I was surprised at the price of a single taco. Almost $6 bucks. Also I don’t get a complimentary bag of chips and salsa from there. I usually go to another local Mexican restaurant and get my Tacos for $2.50 and they always add complimentary chips and salsa to my order. I just didn’t go there on this trip because I was right there by Aldalbertos. Follow up trip: Ordered the chips cheese and guacamole and UGGH! 😡 I don’t understand why they don’t layer the cheese and chips..I got this box full of chips and a handful of cheese on top. It’s one thing for the cheese to not be melted, but another thing when the cheese you do get is not enough to cover the top layer..thank goodness I have always had a good portion of guacamole served on top. I know that if anyone working there was to make their own, it would probably be layered and cheesed out all over. I’m just going to ask them next time to layer them and ask for extra cheese. I just don’t think I should have to, it should just come that...
