Papa Murphy's | Take 'N' Bake Pizza — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

Yesterday, October 1st 2023 at 5:45PM I went into this location to pick up my pizza. The manager KEENAN was being very rude to the young man who was working there. KEENAN spoke rudely and condescendingly to this poor young man in front of everyone. AND, KEENAN said to me that the young man was telling him things he already knew regarding that KEENAN was the only one who could ring me up. KEENAN said this like he thought I would feel bad for him rather than the young man he was being rude to. KEENAN basically yelled at the young man to prep salads in a different area. KEENAN acted annoyed with the young man who is clearly a newer employee. I felt so uncomfortable for the young man and for myself really. KEENAN is not a good manager if he treats his employees like that. That poor kid. KEENAN should have taken him to the side rather than trying to humiliate him in front of others. I wonder... Will I ever have a good experience at this location?!?!?!

This happened a few months ago and I posted this review to the wrong location but this happened at the Bradshaw location. I literally JUST called the Bradshaw location to make an order and the male that answered the phone made me feel like I was wasting his precious time. I ordered a 2 topping large, it was a special for 10.99 and another pizza and a salad. Total was 35 dollars. When I arrived I found that one of the pizzas was made as a cheese only. When I asked about the toppings a nice young lady explained that some orders don't print the toppings just a generic pizza (cheese). She was off to add the toppings when the manager chastised her with very little regard for her feelings. I then explained to him that I ordered a two toppings pizza, he explained that he didn't care, and that they, I'm assuming the store, would have to pay for the toppings. I mentioned that I had already paid for the pizza and the toppings. Then he spoke very loudly to the same worker, in a manner which I found cruel, that he was going to have to pay for it without looking at me. I said I have already paid for it, he ignored me. I felt terrible for this experience, especially hers in particular. He would not speak to me,but rather speak to me through his chastising of her. I then told him, I would pay for the toppings again, but he would not look at me, so I spoke loudly with a smile to the worker. My opinion of his handling of this issue is that this manager, should speak to the customer, not the employee standing in front of the customer. Rather a cowardly move. I would also recommend this man treat his customers with respect, and further don't blame the employee for trying to help the customer or charge a customer twice for toppings. There are no bad jobs, only bad managers. Never once did the manager speak directly to me, more focused on berating the worker. I regret tipping...

A quick delicious reasonably priced dinner... A little Take & Bake Pizza. This is My Favorite Favorite Pizza here and I add two small tweaks to make it my own. It's a Specialty Pizza called the Chicken, Bacon Ranch... When I Order it I ask for thin crust and Red Sauce. It is sooo Good... My only Struggle is when I am not eating meat or dairy but, I recently tried the Gourmet Vegetarian which is now my second favorite. And if you're cutting way back and skipping dairy you can also try any pizza with Papa Murphy's Dairy free cheese option. It works but preferably without their white sauce. I have nothing but, good things to say about Papa Murphy's they've been convenient and affordable especially on weekend nights when you want to take a break from cooking throughout the week. I have purchased pizzas for children's parties or fun get-togethers with family and friends. They also have a wide variety of pizza selections to choose from and their Caesar saladsare fresh and flavorful and the cookie dough is also very good for take and bake for dessert. They do get packed on Friday and Saturday nights so be prepared for a bit of a wait time if you don't call ahead or use...
