Starbucks — Restaurant in Rancho Cordova

Usually we use mobile order, and our drinks are ready upon arrival. Today we walked in, unsure of what we wanted. We came to order five drinks, with four in our group, two being kids who are extremely unfamiliar with Starbucks, and we took a little long. Admittedly, 5-7 minutes. Our barista was starting to look irritated with us, and There was one or two people who came in behind us, and after a couple minutes, a second barista came up and motioned the people behind us up, and said, rather rudely, to the other customer, “They’re taking too long, so I can help you.” We paid for four of our drinks and placed the fifth drink in mobile order, since she was acting like we were inconveniencing her by making her do her job. I'm giving you this location two stars only because of its convenient location from my house. I thought I would give it several tries before leaving a review I normally go to the one off of Folsom boulevard near Dawes. I think it's safe to leave a review now considering every single time I've come here regardless of the employee rotation throughout the day, they are extremely rude. I have gone through the drive-thru as well as walk-in to pick up my order and I have literally not only experienced them being rude to me I have watched people of color walk in and completely be ignored (by Caucasian workers) The atmosphere also isn't very welcoming and don't even try to kindly explain that your drink order was wrong. It's typical Starbucks coffee. You know exactly what you're coffee will taste like here. The service is rather lacking though. They're not rude by any means, but they're not friendly either and your drink will take a very long time. I've been to this location maybe ten times and I'm generally the only person in line. The employees favor drive-thru, which is typical. They'll have five employees on staff, but for some reason you'll always stand there for a little while before you're even acknowledged. I've had them take my order and forget to make it two different times. Overall, nothing to be excited about unless you just need the caffeine fix. The Golden Centre Lane Starbucks (Bel Air Shopping Center) is far better with their customer service and worth the time to get out...
