My husband and I go to this Starbucks almost every night. It’s brand new and we thought we would give them our business. We go to The Agua Caliente Casino and on the way home we stop by this Starbucks. I always order the same kind of drink. A hot venti white chocolate mocha with caramel drizzle. I usually order 3 or 4 of the same drink. Anyways I ordered 3 tonite and 2 panninis. My total came to $31.05. Tonite the same 2 girls were working that aren’t very nice and always make my order wrong. But I ordered anyways and asked if they put caramel drizzle in my drink. She said yes. I gave her a $2.00 tip and left. I took a sip of my drink and no caramel drizzle. I don’t know why these 2 girls have such a bad attitude but they do. The other employees are all very nice and always make my drinks perfect. I don’t like the drink without the caramel drizzle. I get right on the freeway after I leave Starbucks and I live an hour away so I can’t turn around and take it back. So very frustrated with these 2 girls. They are not friendly at all. I feel like they do it on purpose. Because they have done it every time and they seem to just have a bad attitude toward me. The extra drinks I order I bring them home to family. I used to come to this Starbucks everyday after work to study till they closed. It was a very welcoming and nice place to sit and study. Now with that they did they gave the baristas so much room to work in and completely forgot about the customers.
I’ve tried to go to this Starbucks to study since they open again Feb 10. The first times I went their internet was down. Which is unbelievable because when you go to a Starbucks you go there most often for the coffee and the wifi no??? I had another customer agree with me on this. But never the less I kept trying. Then today when I went was the last straw. I went inside to find that ALL the 3 seat they honestly have because the new setup they decided to go with is completely horrible were all filled with people not even studying but just talking. That wouldn’t have been a problem and I would’ve just taken a seat outside. If it wasnt for the fact that with the new “upgraded” look they did. EVERY single outlet are on that one single couch they added nothing else, or even outside at all either. So if your device dies. Well good luck. Better go some place else.
Over all it’s just upsetting that being a place I used to drive 30 minutes for on my day off just to sit a bit and study. No longer will be a spot for me.

   Read moreI work 5am shifts a block away from this Starbucks so, naturally, I want to spend my money here. I also, understand how hard morning shifts are. This location specifically, has the worst customer service. My coworkers also order from this location. I have made it a point to order 20mins AHEAD, to avoid being late. I show up, and the coffees are still not finished. I don't ever expect any staff to check on me at this point. You walk into the building and aren't even acknowledged. The past few times I have finally spoken up about my caramel/mocha drizzle being missing (its petty but, im also paying .60 for it.) Every time I bring it up, I get an attitude. Trust me, I want to just leave and not be late for work but it's the principle at this point. I have experimented and ordered from the 111 Palm Desert location and they get it right with a smile in a timely manner. I have tried Coffee Bean on El paseo, and they are so awesome, no problems.
