We just discovered this local GEM of a place by accident on a family road trip and we are SO GLAD we did!! Wow, what a TREAT! Quality food, made with love, truly grass fed quality meat, cheese, products. Healthy, fresh, made in house. They don’t use seed oils (super unhealthy) thankfully, and you feel great after eating this fresh yummy food! The owners were there, even nanna herself! Such a sweet honest hardworking restaurant that puts out quality premium products that make you feel great! Gluten free sourdough bread with grass fed organic beef and delicious sides. So grateful to have discovered this spot after riding in the car all day. I refused to stop at fast food and was going to settle for a regular traditional restaurant, but instead we found this place!!!! They also had a farmers market in store/house and we bought fresh eggs, homemade jelly, local farm cheese, homemade pickles and GF biscuits. Truly a healthy persons dream to find! If you want to feel great and have a delicious made meal with love, stop here! You won’t regret it! My kids and husband and myself all thoroughly enjoyed it!!! Delicious GF cupcakes too!!! We ordered 2 grass fed beef burgers with GF sourdough buns, 1 turkey sandwich, 1 GF bison quesadilla and 1 garden salad. Thank you Nana for opening this place and serving us with love and...

We accidentally found Nanna's while we were in Rapid City and I have found my new favorite restaurant. As someone with Celiac Disease it is challenging finding safe places to eat. Not only is the kitchen dedicated gluten-free, the food is DELICIOUS! My hubby has no issues with gluten, and he loved the bread. We ended up taking home a loaf of the sourdough and honey white (and are going back this weekend for more!)
As amazing as the food is, the service and ambiance are equally incredible. We were greeted by the one of the owners who chatted with us and shared his and his wife's story on how they ended up in South Dakota (my hubby and I are also transplants) as well as their vision of the business. You can tell that this is truly a labor of love for the owners. Bonus, we got to meet their kids!
I highly recommend this restaurant (and the bakery) not just to my Celiac buds out there, but anyone who is looking for a great, family-friendly place to eat!

Read moreVery unfortunate experience. We didn’t try the gluten free options, just the salad-I’ll refrain from commenting on that because the saddest part was I got up to use the restroom and as I walked back, I gave our server my card to pay for our meal (to ensure I paid and not my mother). The server charged my card but then added a tip for themselves and then proceeded to not tell me. My card was at the table when I returned. I asked the server if there was a slip for me to sign or a place where I could leave a tip (if there wasn’t, i would have left cash), and that’s when they told me they already left “just 15%”. As a person who has worked for tips my entire career - this etiquette was extremely shocking and...
