Ordered the Verdura pizza, Sicilian style. There's a certain spongy Sicilian crust I've had in NYC, the Bronx and Westchester County NY, and one place in Hunterdon County that closed 10+ years ago. So I am always seeking that. Campania makes a fantastic pizza, it was delicious, but there was no roasted eggplant as described on the menu, and it wasn't that spongy texture I am forever seeking. Would have given 5 stars, the pizza was that good, but have to drop a star for the missing eggplant. It was late on a Friday evening, so maybe they ran out. Now, they had a vegetable lasagna on display in the case out front, it looked so good I ordered two pieces for take-out, heated it in the microwave Sunday for lunch. Outstanding, had spinach, summer squash, mushrooms, onions., garlic, maybe a touch of broccoli and of course the eggplant I wish was on the pizza. It was over-the-top delicious, must be amazing fresh outta the oven. I'll be back, have to try more dishes here, I was impressed 4/9/25;iupdate- Okay, so sometimes I hesitate to write reviews until I've tried something a few times. I hate ordering tortellini out at Italian restaurants because it's almost always overcooked. This is the third time in a row I've ordered takeout of Tortellini della Casa at Campania pizza and Deli in Flemington, and every single time the tortellini has been cooked perfectly. This is a tortellini and shrimp with pancetta and mushrooms in a sherry cream sauce. If that sounds good to you at all, and if you love tortellini, I would highly recommend this place he sauce is not too heavy. Knocked it out of the park three times in a row.I've ordered it. The tortellini is always cooked to perfection. I'm amazed. I also recommend the cheesy garlic Bread and the CaliforniaCheese steak, I thnk they use better beef than most places and their Godfather cold subs is great too. I thhink it comes down to usung higher quality ingredients...

As I said in my earlier review below that I would go back to try the Roman long stemmed marinated Artichokes, and the Tortellini Salad.. and yes I tried both, and I was glad I did ! You don’t find those artichokes everywhere and they’re a true Italian delicacy you need to try .. maybe serve at your next dinner as a side dish? The tortellini salad was a medley of mozzarella bits, black olives, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, Bermuda onions, slices of the Roman artichoke, tortellini and more. It was a very refreshing dish to eat and I totally enjoyed both offering very much ! Do try them.. I’m certain I’ll have them again.
I finally got to try Campania Pizza right next door to the Stop and Shop food store ! The eatery looked very clean and the staff was friendly, the pizza was a healthy sized slice.. and you could taste the tomato sauce and it seemed to have a better quality Cheese on it too! I enjoyed my slice but did then notice the marinated artichokes with stems in display case.. (if you’ve never had them, do try these Italian treats .)The Lasagna appeared to have a meat sauce ,which I prefer, and I can’t wait to try the Tortellini Salad ..which looked great too and were also featured in the display case ! The next case featured desserts! Yum!
I’d say give Campania’s a try ! It’s conveniently located on Rte31 N towards Clinton.. I’m going back to...
Read moreTucked away in Flemington next to stop n shop, this Italian restaurant is a true hidden gem. A bathroom store’s recommendation led me to discover a culinary delight far beyond the typical pizza joint. The incredibly friendly staff sets a welcoming family tone, and the menu offers much more than just pizza, showcasing a range of tempting dishes. I opted for the homemade ravioli, and the exquisite flavor was a revelation. As you look around you will see exquisite freshly baked pastries, homemade bread, garlic bread , pasta and breaded chicken that draws you in from the moment you enter. This restaurant easily earns a place among my favorite dining spots in addition to recently being featured as a top...
