If you’ve never experienced Duck Donuts in Flemington, located right in the Stop & Shop Shopping Center on Route 31, stop what you’re doing and go. Right now. You haven’t truly lived until you’ve had one of their warm, made-to-order doughnuts melt in your mouth.

This isn’t your typical grab-a-box-of-stale-donuts place. No. These beauties are handcrafted fresh when you order them. You choose the coating, the drizzle, the topping. You basically become a doughnut designer. Want maple icing with bacon on top? They’ll make it. Chocolate with sprinkles? Done. Peanut butter drizzle with Oreo crumbles? Yes, please. The combos are wild in the best way possible.

And let me tell you, the flavor? Out. Of. This. World. These doughnuts are light, warm, and just the right kind of indulgent. Like, you’ll plan your errands around them kind of good.

But it’s not just the doughnuts. The folks who run the place are awesome. Super friendly, fast, and always happy to recommend a flavor if you’re feeling indecisive (which, fair warning, is likely).

They’ve also got other delicious menu items like coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and seasonal specials that round out the experience. And honestly, it’s clear they’re more than just a donut shop. They’re a really great part of the community here in Flemington.

Having tried Duck Donuts in Savanna a few years ago, and hearing about the opening of the Flemington location, I put this place on my list. I live in Hillsborough and I'm in Flemington two or three times a week. Since it's a little north of BJ's, I couldn't make it until yesterday. Upon entering, I found the atmosphere to be a little on the bland to sterile side. I was disappointed to find that they only make one standard, hole in the middle Donuts. No Jelly, no Bavarian Creme, No Boston Creme. The donuts are iced and decorated to order while they're still warm. This may seem to be cute and unique, but since I didn't open the box until I got home, there was melted icing all over the inside of the box, with at least 4 of the 6 glued to the inside of the box. Also, at $16+ for 6 donuts, these donuts are entirely too small. The open box was approximately 5/8 donuts and 3/8 empty box. Unless this place is on your special donut bucket list, you're probably better off with Dunkin's donuts that were...

Worth Every Bite! This Duck Donuts location is dangerously good. Phil, Megan, and their team greet you like you’re a long-lost friend, and the vibe here is so warm you almost forget you came for donuts… almost. I’ve seen some folks complain about prices or donut size, but it’s exactly the same as other Duck Donuts I’ve visited—the difference here is the people and the variety. Everything’s fresh, made-to-order, and served with a smile (and maybe a little temptation to order “just one more”). If I didn’t have to watch my sugar and carbs, I’d probably have my own reserved parking...
