TJ's Deli & Grill — Restaurant in Raritan Township

I don't know what's been going on with this place the last few months, but the management is terrible. The food is great-- if they manage to finally make you what you actually ordered. So many times has my simple order of an egg and sausage sandwich magically turned into a sausage egg and cheese, and today for some reason an egg and bacon sandwich. What compels them to completely ignore what their customers specify in their order? How do you confuse sausage with bacon?

Also, on doordash, their delivery takes over an hour and I live literally one minute away by foot. I once had a dasher waiting outside the deli for over ten minutes as they spent over 50+ minutes making a sausage and egg sandwich. Even McDonalds who has 1000% higher demand is significantly faster. It's astonishingly negligent.

Horrible don't eat here. They aren't attentive and they ignore you purposely. I was waiting to be helped waiting over 5 minutes just to get an order that was ordered online and I didn't even have to wait this long because my order was sitting on the counter. I also watched the cook then put something in her mouth and eat it and chewing over cooking someone's food. Maybe they were busy I can understand but the fact that they really just don't care and ignored multiple customers is horrible. I work right around the corner from TJ's, so this has been my regular sandwich spot for probably two years or so now. Up until a few months ago, the food was incredible. In my opinion they made the best italian sub in the area. However, something has changed recently. There are two new cashiers, and I haven't seen the two other previous cashiers lately. Today I went in to get a sandwich, and the cashier who took my order seemingly cut me off when I was trying to order, to try and upsell me on fries or a side. He ended up getting my order wrong, and the quality simply isn't what it used to be. It's frustrating, because it's close...
