Overall extremely unsatisfied, first the chip's are kept in a warmer cabinet with little cardboard trays with maybe 10 to 12 chip's, you have no idea how long they've been there, 15 minutes, an hour or two, how do you know, most Mexican restaurants bring fresh chip's and salsa to your table, I got a burrito, a enchilada, and a taco, served on plates with plastic forks and spoons, all our food was bland basically no seasoning to speak of. My enchiladas flour tortilla was so tough I could hardly cut it with the plastic fork. My taco seemed like it was made with a flour tortilla but was so tough, like it was overcooked that it broke into piece's. The burrito was ok but like I said, BLAND. My two Great Grandchildren got chicken nuggets and fries, the nuggets I know were Dino nuggets from Tyson food, because I have them at home in my freezer. For the money we spent we could've had a better experience at other Mexican restaurants in the Kansas City metro area. We went to the one in Belton Missouri, and when I Googled it afterwards I seen where they have restaurants in Nebraska, Iowa, and other cities in Missouri, maybe because this one is new they have inexperienced people or something I don't know, but from my experience if this is their best, they...
Read moreI really want to like this place as the food is delicious and it's near our house, so convenient. But, every time we've ordered, whether online for pickup or drive through, they forgot at least one item. For the most part, it's been a side or a dessert, and we don't make a big deal of it, but with our latest order, they forgot an entire meal. We had already returned home by the time we realized the mistake. I called the restaurant to request a refund. Had to call six times. A couple of times nobody answered, but several times someone did answer, I would explain the issue, and they would just set the phone down (no telling me to hold) and I would listen to the background noise in the restaurant kitchen for minutes on end; then I'd eventually hang up and call back. Rinse and repeat a few times. Finally, on the sixth call, the lady who answered put a gentleman on the call, who explained that he couldn't refund my money but we could drive back to the restaurant and they'd give us the meal they forgot in the first place. We ultimately did that, but this is likely the last time we'll eat there as it simply isn't...
Read morePrevious Texan here that just about lived in mexican restaurants for mealtimes. This new store was a very clean restaurant and had very polite staff. If you’re expecting a taco bell menu, keep driving. This is more similar to a Panchos in my opinion. (I would recommend looking at their menu online before you come.) They make your food to order and you should expect it to take about 5-10 minutes. It’s a good halfway between sit down level food and fast food. The food tasted great and was hot and fresh. The gentleman assisting the cashier at the counter was very polite and professional.
There were some rude customers in front of us that took 10+ minutes to order two items and they kept blaming the cashier for a language barrier but it was them that actually kept changing their minds on what they wanted. Some reviews may be writing through a colored lens on what they think the restaurant should be like. This is a great restaurant and you should have an open mind about a store that JUST opened when visiting. They’re getting their groove figured out and will get better as...
