I am visiting from southern California where I live and primarily work out of. Ordered from here in person, after the app was rejecting delivery orders on my cashapp card because the card was locked upon my initial order, and upon unlocked the app refused the same card number for a second try. It would not work for a new card number nor switching back to cashapp; still would not accept. Something with the API at this store regarding the little caesars app and the I believe doordash is whom they outsource to. I went out for a pedi, a haircut and ended up stopping by in person and settling for 2 premade pepperoni instead of my custom order. I did however end up adding the crazy combo; the bread sticks I received were unusually some of the freshest, tastiest breadsticks I had ever consumed from a little caesars.
After attempting another order after the weekend, the app switched my order from the delivery option I had selected ( the Little Caesars app asked for my delivery address information and I entered it ) to an in store pickup. Since I flew in from southern California, I do not have a vehicle here. I decided not to rent one and the cost of delivery fees is generally cheaper than taking a Lyft both directions. Sometimes the Uber drivers tell me I cannot bring pizza in their vehicles so I tend to avoid this and just order delivery.
I digress, the order tonight came up as an in store pickup. So. I decided to call the store at 1834 to confirm if this was a pickup order and to change it to a delivery. The app had no option to modify the order, so this was the most logical option. In the 1 minute and 34 second conversation with the staff member regarding my inquiry to confirm delivery or pickup and if pickup change to delivery was responded to with some types of confusion. The staff member was able to tell me that my order had been placed online and that was all. I would assume an in store pickup goes in a special box, so therefore the order would need to be labeled as in store pickup. The fact the app sent me some access code, told me they would be leaving it somewhere. Since he didn't know anything else regarding canceling or changing an order, I decided to check the Little Caesars app again.
I again, found no way to modify or change the order in the app regarding my order being in store pickup. My next thought is, if I cannot change the order on my end, maybe the store preparing the order could change the order to a delivery order. If they cannot, then they should be able to at least manually cancel the order on their end via the connected API on their point of sale system. Albeit this was a theory, I called back to ask the order to be cancelled and then I could discuss reordering from the little caesars app without having the staff make the order twice or me paying for two dinners for 3 people and only being able to acquire one of these two dinners paid for and prepared by the restaurant. Well on my second call at 1836 was answered by a different staff member, I informed this employee I had just called regarding my order and wanted to have it canceled so that I may have the order delivered. The employee told me he would check on my order, and he confirmed order was already being prepared. I expressed that I needed the order cancelled, and they said they could not because they had already begun preparing the order. I again informed this second employee that I have no way to pickup this order; if they do not cancel and refund my money, then I cannot re order a second pizza for delivery. The employee said he cannot do anything to the order because it is being prepared. I let them know at this point that if they don't take an extra step to help remedy this situation so that I may have a pizza delivered through Doordash that I will not hold back the flood gates on my reviews. At this point the employee told me not to threaten him; and I realized I was speaking to an old child. After this decline to cancel my order and refund my money, i hung up to report them. They called to harass me over seven...
Read moreWas hopping for a fresh hot and ready extra most bestest this Saturday night. Got here at 9:50pm and 30 seconds later was at the door knocking because the night crew decided to close early. There adds, flyers, the store hours on the door, Google, Yelp, you name it all state that there operating hours are from are 11:00am to 9:30pm Sunday-Thursday & 11:00am to 10:00pm Friday & Saturday. Please note it says OPERATING hours. Last time I checked that meant in working order and, open for business, powered on/activated and ready to go. Today is nothing of the sort. I'm not sure what time they locked the entry doors but I know I drove up at least 10min before and was turned away. I called and was told that they are closed and that they USUALLY close at 10:50pm. Bull, I was pulling into parking lot at that time and saw no-one at the see through glass door. Then they said buh bye and hung up. I am going to clarify this with the owner tomorrow. I drove here, believing I would be getting there with time to order, pay, and pickup my pizza. Instead I'm sitting here writing this.Pondering how much more gas will it take to go get dinner from and how much time, gas, and wasted joint wealth was spent on getting absolutely nothing except this review. If you can avoid and or afford other pizzerias please show them your displeasure with being duped by this place. Definitely would not recommend bringing your business here. They don't deserve a dime.
Thanks for...
