What a dump(ling) We arrived and there were people at all tables except for one that had a pair of sunglasses sitting on it from the previous party. There wasn't a single piece of sanitation to be found and the bathrooms were closed. So far we have had a better experience in one of the shops we stopped by. We looked at the menu and ordered 3 lunch specials that clearly say soup, egg roll, fried rice. 10.95 a plate. I attached a picture of one of the dishes. Notice how the rice is not fried, it just isn't white. Notice the lack of soup (advertised as included). Notice of small the serving is. We didn't even get napkins and had to pay a dollar for a cup of water. It took over 20 minutes for them to prepare the food, in which time 3 parties left and several new people approached. No one came to sanitize any of the tables. We did not receive napkins. The plastic forks were so cheap they couldn't pierce the carrots.

I feel this place could be a lot better. I called to place an order. The phone wasn't answered in professional way. The way she answered, I had to take a double look to make sure I called a business. I asked for Two Orange Chickens, One with Fried Rice, and the other with Steamed Rice. She didn't ask for a name nor provided a price. She just said "20 minutes" and hung up... Once I got there... $35.35, including tax. That's $17.675 per plate. Definitely not worth it. Barely had any flavor. Certainly a cheaper chicken with a marked up price. I don't recommend.

I find China Garden restaurant is very mediocre. While the fried chicken and sauce is fairly good, it’s nothing special. It is also quite expensive. I really miss the old China Garden menu and food they served, pre 2020.

It was our anniversary. We were craving Chinese and China Garden recently reopened. We decided to eat here. It was about 5 pm. The place was dark, and felt like we were walking into a messy garage. We'd hoped to eat there. Decided not to. My wife had vegetable lomein and I had house lomein (shrimp, beef, chicken). Veg lomein had celery, onion 2pcs of squash. Mine had shrimp that was so over cooked that it was chalky. Egg rolls had very little of anything. It was hard to tell. Hot sour soup was almost adequate. I hate to leave bad reviews. I also hate to spend money on food that shouldn't be served to the public! It doesn't take much to make decent food. Especially if you want to have return customers. Very...

Stopped by in Red Lodge on our way out of Yellowstone. We walked around a bit and after a few unfriendly encounters we decided on Chinese. We were a bit nervous, but this was honestly some of the best Chinese food we’ve had. The Szechuan shrimp was amazing. So flavorful and cooked with care. We also got egg rolls that were crispy and fried to perfection. The Kung Pao tofu tasted like chicken kung Pao and was a very tasty substitute if you’re looking for a vegan dish. The owners put much care into the preparation as we saw them freshly chopping the veggies and making some freshly brewed green tea for us as we continued our cross...
