This was the worst experience I have ever had at Chipotle. I usually ask for grilled onions at every location. I asked for them here. The manager, Brandy turned it into a huge mess. She basically told the grill person to take my onions off and put bell peppers and onions on without consulting me at all. The guy on the grll was asking ME if the onions were done enough and she answered him yes and took the bowl from him. I was shocked and told her i was calling corporate to report her. She told me to go ahead. She also told me i could wait bc there were other people in the store. (There were no customers waiting). I asked her name and position. It was then that i found out she was the general manager. She should know better. When i tried to get her to push the other vegetables over and put the onions back on she showed me the empty container. Now i noticed the near empty container when i walked in so she wasnt showing anything i didn't already know. It was news to her because she wasn't on top of her job. I told her that when she showed me the empty container. Brandy told me that if i didn't walk away from her now, she was going to call the police on me. I informed her again that i was calling corporate and proceeded to do so. (I saw her on the line preparing food when i came in. However, she was not the one who asked to help me. The polite young lady did and she asked the cook to grill onions for me. The three stars that i gave them was for the cook, the cashier, and she because other than that the experience was horrendous.) As i was getting the info (i just decided to call the Shreveport store for the corporate number) Brandy disappeared. Meanwhile Josh put the onions (that Brandy asked if i wanted her to throw them away) back on the grill. I saw Brandy reemerge with the store phone. I overheard her saying, "i have a customer in the store..." before she disappeared again. I explained to HER that i could not wait because i was traveling and my husband had gone to Walmart and would be back to pick me up. She did not care. SIDEBAR- (We are always traveling so, i have eaten at many Chipotle restaurants from Los Angels to New York where i ask for grilled onions and recieve great service) She never came back out for the duration of my visit. She never apologized. Everyone in the restaurant stopped and looked at me. She tried to embarrass and intimidate me with her threat to call the police but by this time i was very upset and ready to tell any of her superiors that would listen. I was glad people saw her awful behavior. It was rude and uncalled for. All because she was not on top of her job and wanted me to now pay for her mistake. She could have politely asked but she acted as if it were my fault. I already filed a complaint and i hope she is reprimanded. She made my experience a nightmare. She has horrible...
Read moreI went to Chipotle on Tuesday, 1/16 and arrived at 11:20 AM. A young lighter skinned African American man with tattoos on his arm which included the Masonic eye in a triangle started my order who barely nodded at me with a frown. That was his way of saying what can I get you. I got through the line quickly and the food was good. When I went to get a drink there were 3 out of order signs across the fountain dispenser machine. I chose water which had an out of order sign for the lemonade it shared a spout with. When pushing the lever in to get water the lever got stuck and water came pouring out diagonal making a mess. I tried to stop it but after several seconds couldn’t so I asked the young lady at the register if she could. She was finally able to stop it. Meanwhile before I even started making my drink there was a huge puddle on the floor in front of the machine which also included ice on the concrete floor. There is no way she did NOT notice this danger hazard. They weren’t terribly busy yet and definitely had time to clean it up as there wasn’t a line. Just a few customers spaced out. None of the staff even put a wet floor sign up when they chose to ignore this! That’s a lawsuit waiting to happen if someone got hurt. The music was so loud and ridiculous. I could barely have a conversation with my husband who was sitting next to me. It sounded like a man and woman were randomly yelling out a note into a microphone with no words from a closet with a drum beat. Think of modern art but in music form. Who even listens to this style of music and why is it played so loud?!! I noticed not one trash can had been put out yet inside the store nor outside the front door of the restaurant. I left at 11:30 so the store had been open for 45 minutes at that point and others had left before us. Trash was beginning to pile up on the counter left on the sliver trays since it couldn’t be thrown away. Every single staff member looked to be barely out of high school and all completely miserable. No one knew how to smile or give good customer service. Instead of writing a review I wanted to speak to a manager about this. I tried calling at 2:30 pm during their slower hours. I kept calling and going through automation. The phone rang and rang and then gave no option for voicemail so that is why I am taking the time to write a review in hopes someone who is in charge of the Red Oak location can get this...
Read moreCame in tonight, I ordered 4 different things. I was fine until the end when I just complained that they rush through people too quickly and it’s hard to focus on one meal item when multiple workers are assisting with making the item. They need to be more aware that it’s confusing to the customer when multiple people are asking what goes on this, what goes on that, etc. They need to focus on the ONE item and then go to the next one. I usually know exactly what I need so it goes quickly. The reason for my 1 star is simply for this one girl who claimed she was a "manager" but I think she was lying. She was black, tall, braids in her hair, to be honest she looked like a high schooler. I’ve seen this same girl in the past being rude before when I’ve come in previously to the workers so this doesn’t come as a shock to me that her attitude towards me would be any different. She wasn’t wearing a name badge, shocker, I would have blasted her name all over this if she had. She was extremely rude and flippant. She had no idea what was going on because she wasn't helping do anything. But, she totally had no problem inserting herself right into the middle of my complaint with the cashier and said “you can’t be mad at us for doing our job.” A manager would never say that for one, and two I said them doing their job had nothing to do what with what I said. Long story short, this “women” if she is in fact a manager needs to be fired because she started to argue back with me, if she’s just a regular worker she should have already been fired. She was extremely unprofessional and instead of offering an apology for the issues to help the situation she literally instigated an argument that went further than it needed to be. I got upset because in the past they have rushed so quickly that items got on the wrong thing, or the workers are just not listening. This person must have this happen often because she was super comfortable arguing back with a customer. She was a total bully. I was with my child and when I left the store my child said “that girl was a bad girl!” So clearly when a 5 year old notices your mean behavior, you're the problem. Oh yeah not to forget to mention that after I left, went home and noticed they totally forgot to put all my side stuff and salsas in the bag....
