Red Oak Donuts Uptown — Restaurant in Red Oak

I went today December 4th for the first and last time. I just moved here and need to get my donut shop set. Well after the great reviews I came here. It was around 10am and raining, I have 2 small kiddos so i went through the drive thru. Sat there for about 10 minutes till someone honked behind me and just left because no one was at the window. Mind you, when i pulled the worker was just sitting in the front with no other customers. After a few more minutes another vehicle pulled up behind me and also left. i finally decided to honk and nothing. Until, i guess, someone finally went inside and i see the lady finally behind the counter. she was just laughing with the customer upfront and after a few more minutes still not even eye contact towards me at the the drivd thru. anyways what a way to start off my morning. even missed breakfast time at mcdonalds...

I initially had a disappointing experience with undercooked donuts, as mentioned in my previous review. However, the owner promptly responded and invited me to return for a refund. When I went back to the shop, the staff was friendly and attentive, providing a fresh batch of donuts that were made perfectly.

Used to come here every morning. They changed owners and were still goodod. Something about today’s experience made me decide to start going else where. Different staff and it’s not for the better.
