Very disappointed! I went twice....a week apart. The first time, my friend and I waited too long to even have our order taken. The servers kept walking by helping other tables and because my friend and I were too busy chatting, we didn't grab the server until they asked if we would like anything else and we said we hadn't even had our order taken. Today we were a group of 5...seated right away and once we placed our order after a half hour or more, our server asked if we'd like a cinnamon roll free for the long wait as it should be just "a few more minutes". We said that was fine and they brought us one of their very large cinnamon rolls to share. we then waited 10 more minutes or so until we all agreed to get up and cancel our order and leave. We offered to pay for our drinks but they said not to worry about it. The lady, who I think was maybe the manager, did apologize all over the place and tried to explain how one cook called in sick, one wasn't doing a good job which left one and when asked if our food was even close to done (out of curiosity), she said no. Funny how our server over 10 minutes prior to that said "just a few more minutes". Now we can understand if a place is short staffed and we actually may have stayed had they been honest with us from the beginning. Explain to us what's going on instead of leaving us all there to wonder and then say our food will be out soon when it wasn't even cooked...don't like dishonesty. We were very disappointed especially twice in a row. I won't be going back and I used to love eating there! An hour is too long with no explanation until we decided to...

The last few times I've visited this restaurant, the service has been great! Greeted with a smile and friendliness of service. Accommodating and patient, one of the wait persons (Tarino (sp)) was so happy, it was hard to not also be happy alongside of her!
Thank you, Tarino! You've re-attracted a customer.
Service and quality of service is extremely inconsistent. Its sad, cause I thought I'd found a cute hole in the wall mom and pop kind of place, not a chain restaurant.
The first visit was ok, the waitress whispered instead of spoke at a normal volume. But outside of that abnormality, I thought it was still cute enough to make return visits.
The last two times, Ive been back the service was really bad and the way the waitresses act & purpose to overcharge customers instead of asking for exacts, is really bad. Its intentional to cost the customer to pay more.
A few of the waitresses walked by my table a few times w/o acknowledging my presence or offering a menu, one visit took 15 minutes to receive a menu and the place wasn't busy at all.
I am no longer impressed with this little off the beaten path place. And its discouraging cause cute mom & pop places that have a feel all of its own, just adds to a city's charm...
