It's a pretty good basic Mexican restaurant food's amazing but there are some things I found wrong with this place. It wasn't that busy when we came in but we still had to wait 10 minutes just for our order being taken plus another 10 minutes to get our glass of water, I requested ice water with lemon. We are done and I've never seen my lemon. I was supposed to come with my water. Then we ordered a margarita for my wife and they came after our drinks of water. Came almost 5 minutes later The waiter did not seem like too, he really wanted to deal with us and then there was a dog walking around on a leash but going from table to table I was not a service dog. Last I knew that was not allowed in a restaurant I was going to take a picture of the dog but by the time I had my camera out it was already gone. I used to have good service from here but I don't know what happened. Very mediocre. Hopefully they straighten me up and when I come back to review it's a lot better But they still have the best...

Food was fine not great , can’t complain. But it t was 8:00 pm when we showed up so a full hour before they close . Why they decided to put us next to the kitchen entrance was beyond me being that there was only 3 other tables being used but whatever 🙄. About a quarter of the way through our dinner the kitchen staff stated playing music loud while the restaurants play list music was also playing at the same time . So we’re sitting there trying to have an enjoyable meal with a supposedly good ambience , asked the server when he came to check on us why there’s 2 different songs going at the same time and he just chuckled. Because I was there with my daughter and her boyfriend trying to have an enjoyable evening I just sucked it up and just went with the getto street theme where everybody’s playing music on top of each other. I also went ahead and tipped the waiter because you know what you can’t take the getto out of some people. Will never go back again , to many other...

I have eaten @ CasaRsmos on hilltop several times over the years. Today for lunch I ordered their chicken quesadilla & it was wonderful—I could only eat 1/2 & our waiter boxed up the remainder—-planned on a great dinner! Unfortunately, I left my box on the table😩 I was so looking forward to my left over dinner that I ordered it on line & had it delivered. I was so disappointed, the black beans I ordered were not included, the quesadilla was a flour tortilla folded in half with cheese, pico de Gallo & strips of chicken, the bottom was soggy. The one I had @ lunch was a flour tortilla filled with shredded chicken, cheese, pico de gallo & was rolled & baked—-crispy! I am so disappointed—looks like peanut butter for dinner for me & the garbage can for this quesadilla. Have to say the service was a 5, the servers were efficient, professional & friendly. If I can’t eat at the restaurant, then I will...

Well at first glance the outside of the restaurant could use a little clean me up. We were seated right away there was no waiting time the place was pretty full though. We got chips and dip and our drinks within the first 4 minutes that we were there the service was quite quick. My iced tea never was empty they kept it full the whole time the same way with the waters. My meal was ready in about 12 minutes and well it was very very good The Cook the waiters the greeter the furniture was very comfortable I just don't have any complaints for this place it's definitely a family restaurant oh and the salsas you've got to try this sauces they got this mild spicy one mmm good. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

My experience at Casa Ramos in Redding was nothing short of exceptional! The food and service were truly outstanding, solidifying this as a must-visit spot for anyone craving delicious Mexican food in the area. The chile verde is exceptional. The pork was incredibly tender and braised to perfection. The vibrant green sauce had a savory flavor with the right amount of spice. This dish is complemented by the flavorful rice and beans served alongside. The atmosphere at Casa Ramos is warm and inviting. The server was friendly and attentive. The portions are generous. Casa Ramos is the place to go for authentic Mexican cuisine in Redding, especially if you love amazing chile verde!
