Taste & See Creamery is hands down the best ice cream spot in Northern California, no contest. Coming from New York City, I’ve had my fair share of great desserts, but their banana shake? Unreal. Smooth, rich, and packed with flavor—it’s the best I’ve ever had.

And the waffle cones of joy? Absolutely perfect—crispy, fresh, and the ideal match for their ultra-creamy ice cream. Every bite is pure happiness.

On top of that, the staff is fantastic—super friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Every time I’m in Redding, I make a beeline for this place, and if you love high-quality, deliciously creamy treats, you should too....

What an amazing surprise “Taste and See Creamery” was on our trip to Redding! While Ice Cream can most certainly put a smile on almost anyone’s face, this place is on a whole other level! Aliyah made this experience truly special for us, she was genuinely friendly and let us each try a flavor to make sure we liked what we ordered. I've been a fan of Taste and Sea since it's opened, but the quality of ice cream is so inconsistent! One day you come in is great, a few weeks later you have the same flavor and it's either too sweet, too bitter or have a mushy texture of pecans or cookies. Please have a better Quality control! There also have been a lack of fruit / berry flavors. Out of 14-16 choices, there will be strawberry and grapefruit only.
