MochiPop Delights — Restaurant in Redding

I love mochi donuts! Especially the chocolate glazed ones. But unfortunately it seems like almost everytime I go after 4-5pm they are always out of that flavor. Sometimes completely out of donuts by 6-7pm and they don't make anymore.

The 1st time I had the drinks it was definitely a little different, but an acquired taste. Now I love all the drinks on the menu.

Staff are always very friendly and attentive. They always have a smile on their faces.

We made it just 30 minutes before closing and were initially disappointed as the selection of Mochi Doughnuts were very limited. We also wondered if the quality would suffer, having been out all day. We are happy to report that they tasted perfectly fresh and delicious! In fact, we ended up trying flavors we may have skipped and were pleased to have tried them! The friendly employee asked if it was our first visit (which it was) and proved very helpful—a refreshing change from most service experiences these days. We can't wait to return our next...

An unexpected surprise in redding, mochi dough gives you a different perspective of what donuts can be. The texture is chewy, the flavors are light, and eating them is fun. Pair that with an over the top "instagram worthy" interior and a friendly staff, and you have mochi dough. The only downfall is the cost... people will buy in to a beautiful setting and good desserts, but only for so long before they realize that $7.5 is actually really expensive...
