If you want some authentic Mexican food or craving some mariscos, you've come to the right place!
This place used to be a different restaurant and we stopped going due to a bad experience but they switched ownership do hubby and I decided to give it a try. I must say, I'm so glad we did! It is excellent. As soon as you walk in the door the place smelled clean. It had new paint inside, and overall nice ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the tostada de ceviche which is fish cooked completely in lime juice and it was so good! Very well severed. My husband and I ended up sharing it cause it was so much. The ceviche was piled up on the tostada, easily made three with that. We ended up eating the rest of the ceviche with the tortilla chips they give you with the salsa when you barely sit. My husband ordered the camarones empanizados or breaded shrimp which is served with rice and beans, they were so delicious and fresh. I ordered the enchiladas poblanas, which is a plate of chicken enchiladas topped with mole sauce, and a side of beans and rice. All the portions were shareable. We couldn't even finish the food in the end but we took it to go. Very well severed and great for the price. As a Mexican American who has high expectations for Mexican food and mariscos (seafood), I totally recommend this place. At the end of the date, we decided this would be a regular spot for hubby and I. There was so much seating, so we were a bit hesitant to stay when we arrived (the mentality of maybe it's not good), but we decided to give it a whirl and we're so glad we did. I also want to say the server was absolutely friendly and attentive. Constantly checking on us and very respectful. Loved him! Overall, five out...
Read moreOverall the food was really good but a little salty and the rice was quite bland. Unfortunately it took quite a while to be served and even longer to be seated even though there was hardly anyone in the whole resaurant. I think there was only two waiters and as I was leaving another server finally appeared. On top of that, It was dark in the restaraunt and very difficult to see my food as well as the check when I paying .And then, when they finally took my order when I ordered something they gave me the incorrect food, but it was quickly resolved. Aside from that, the food was a tad expensive and someone from my party ordered a burrito and it looked very unappealing and dry without any garnish. The waiters were awkward and made my party uncomfortable while eating. They paid little attention to my party and when I asked for a refill he snatched the cup off my table and then scooted back on the table in a fashion where the water almost spilled and then ran off without any time for me to say thank you. But in the end the food...
Read moreI read reviews but after having dinner I'm kindof confused. Service was pretty good, they ask you constantly if you're doing good which is kindof annoying but I really appreciate how attentive and friendly the staff was. The food though was terrible. It literally had no flavor at all and was served cold on a extremely hot plate and our meals were pretty small. I had the Fish burrito with red sauce and cheese and it had zero taste at all and the "fish" just disintegrated, the beans tasted like cardboard, and had no rice or anything come with it. My husband had beef enchiladas and same thing happened, tasted like nothing and the meat also disintegrated. I also ordered a margarita and they literally put no alcohol in it and got weird when I asked about it. For the price the quality should be way better because they're kindof overpriced. They also had a few really young kids inside the kitchen running around there and throughout the restaurant. We were super disappointed, sadly I don't recommend this...
