The Blazin Claw Redlands — Restaurant in Redlands

I wouldn't reccomend anyone to go here. Best place to go near by or a "not too far off drive", go to Bucket of Crabs and Crawfish [BCC] at Ontario or go to Boiling Crab or even Big Catch... I strongly do not recommend The Blaxin' Crab. He is why; I received a 1lbs. of clams. The first-two clams did not taste right. It even had a spoiled scent to it and very nasty taste on my tongue. Without saying anything to two ppl but I had them taste it. They even told my it is not good. I mentioned to the waitress about the issue, she asked is there anything we're could do to help, I replied with a "yes". She asked, "what could were do?" I told her, "if it is possible, could you just replace it with the mussels and have it to go?" She replied, " let me check with my manager." She comes back and told that her manager said, "we got the shipment today sho how can it the clams be bad!?!" So first of all [to the Manager]; you did not catch the clams, you did not bag the clams, I'm pretty sure you did not check the date on the clams, and you didn't even come out to show a concern to a paying customer and investigate the issue. Second of all; this establishment is a customer to the seafood industry. You should have took the initiative to communicate with the customer to confirm if my clans were legit. So what makes you think as a buyer that everything you receive is 100% grade and never old. There are thousands of other establishments like this, so what makes you think that this establishment will receive the very best?

I do not know if you are an actual experience manager or your just a good friend to the owner and that's how you got that title and position bcus you are off on your customer services towards customer myself.

By the way, a good friend of mine told me, "...I'm you had to experience that. So don't worry about it and I'll pay for it." He did this gesture bcus I was going to make a scene in your bs establishment. I was disgusted by your reply of my concern after the fact that your waitress asked me if there was anything we could do... I am paying customer who...

I went to this restaurant last night for a nice birthday dinner with my friend and I was so disappointed with the service. Our waitress took for ever to come to out table initially just to even take our drink and appetizers order. The hostess even came over after a while and said "let me find your server and send her over". I still took her a while to come, we weren't trippin though it gave us time to chat and catch up. She finally came and took our orders, we had plenty of time to review the menu so we placed our order for 1 shared appetizers (sweet potatoe fries), our 2 cokes and our main dishes. She seemed to write everything down but after typing things into the server station she came and asked what we ordered again. We were very polite and told her again as she requested. The rest was a mess... we only got parts of our main dishes, missing items. Never brought our fries until we asked when we were nearly done eating if they were coming for her to say oh we ran out of those what else do you want. Again we politely reordered a different type of fries. They came but we had both ordered a rice dish to accompany or shrimp in our initial orders and she just never came back. Rice never came... she kept going to the tables directly next to us and checking on the other customers but never even looked our way. We finally got the attention of someone else and asked about our 2 missing rice dishes. A while later 1 dish was brought to us. We inquired about the 2nd dish only to be met with a frustrated puzzled look. We ended up having to get the items to go, no apologies no acknowledgement, nothing. I had high hope for this place too, but I will not be back and will not recommend to anyone I know. Food was alright but I'll make the drive all the way to the boiling crab where I know service...

My Brother brought me here to celebrate my Birthday as we were both craving shrimp on June 13, 2018 at Noon. What better place than to come to The Blazin’ Crab as we have been there before several times. The ambiance is great, customer service is awesome, seafood is always fresh and the music is on point.

On this particular occasion, it was the exact opposite. We arrived to an almost empty restaurant with about five other tables preoccupied with no music playing at all. We sat ourselves down with no warm welcome or even an acknowledgement from the two employees that seen us enter from the front. A guy with semi long hair and a stuck up white brod that showed no interest in attending to us at all.

It was a very long wait before one decided to approach to take our drink order. And with no music, time seem to take a longer approach. The guy eventually recognized us and took our order shortly afterwards. We put in our food order as well in hopes that it would not take as long waiting for service. Service was no where near to what we are accustomed to. We were needing butter at one point and were tired of waiting so we literally had to stop the stuck up white chick and kindly asked to bring us some.

Once we were finished, I went to the restroom to wash up. Apparently, my Brother had asked if they could do something special for me like all other restaurants so for their patrons for their birthdays, but they had no interest but that my Brother could buy something for me.

This was a complete joke and the worst experience at this great establishment. I am giving this a two star rating in consideration of the other priceless memories...
