I really wish I could give more than 2 stars, but overall, my experience just didn’t meet expectations. Starting with the good, the young lady who helped us during the initial write up was very kind and made us feel welcomed. We let them know our order was for 60 guests about a month in advance, and everything seemed set. The first issue came when we were already driving from San Diego to Redlands for our scheduled tasting, only to find out it had actually been booked for the following day. There must’ve been an internal miscommunication, but we ended up having to stay overnight just to make it work. When we finally did our tasting, one of the flavors we’d specifically asked to swap out for our guests religious reasons hadn’t been changed. They suggested we come back another day to try it.. During the tasting, we also weren’t given any privacy to sample and talk things over, someone sat there the entire time, which made things awkward. I’d definitely recommend giving customers space to taste and chat on their own after the flavor brief. We went ahead and booked the cake, sending in an inspiration photo of what we wanted, a tiered vintage-style cake with classic piping and those clear stilts between layers (photo attached). The bakery told us we’d have to provide the stilts ourselves, so we decided to go without and asked for it to be tiered instead. It took a few calls to get that update confirmed. When the wedding day came, I didn’t see the cake until it was time to cut it
and I was honestly surprised. It looked nothing like the photo we’d shared. Instead of a round, tiered vintage-style cake, it was tall and narrow, more like a cylinder, with missing piping and big blank areas. It had a completely different feel than what we’d requested. It even looked a bit awkward to cut because of how tall and compact it was. I didn’t try the cake myself, and no one mentioned it either way, so I’m guessing it was fine taste wise. But visually, it just wasn’t what we hoped for, especially after showing such a specific inspiration photo. Extremely disappointed after paying over $500 for a once in a lifetime wedding cake.

Go here for the pastries. They have a beautiful display of home-baked goods (note, everything is ridiculously large and probably meant for more than one person). The coffee experience, disappointing. I brought my own mug as I do to every coffee shop. It's marked on the bottom exactly 16 ounces, same as a standard sized latte anywhere you go. Seemed like the first time anyone has ever requested this. It confused the heck out of the sweet girl who took my order, she asked another employee how to handle it, and they decided to make my latte into a paper cup then transfer it to my mug. I told her that defeats the purpose. Another girl came out to help and handed me my latte about an inch and a half short and asked if this was okay. In the coffee world, for this price per ounce, an inch and a half is a lot. I just wanted to get out of there so I thanked them and left. She handed me my cookie in a giant plastic box. I understand not having vast ecological knowledge, but come on people, just put the cookie in a paper bag and call it a day. So much waste, they seemed to have no concept of any of this. Not a place for me, but maybe you'll love it.

I got to discover this bakery through JogDawgs! I got here an hour early before the run just for me to check out the place, and wow it blew me away! As soon as you step inside, you’ll be swept up with pastel colors and a genuine, sincere effort put into the space that invites friendly conversations to blossom over sweet pastries and drinks. All the pastries made me salivate, because of how freshly baked they were and the variety they offered. I’ve been told the churro cake is the most popular, and they were sold out by the time I got there. The next time, I hope to get the churro cake. In seeking to support the local business through JogDawgs and get some sweets for friends who are studying for their finals I got the following based on the staff’s recommendations: **Brownie **Strawberry croissant **Strawberry shortcake cupcake **Green apple and pumpkin maple maracons I marveled at how shiny and beautiful the pastries were! They were equally delicious and I can tell the staff seeks to provide the best experience for each customer. Thank you all for the work you do, and God bless you all.

I was looking for my daughter's 15th birthday cake and found this beautiful place. I made an appointment for the cake tasting and we met Kim, the owner of the place. She is super nice, friendly, and professional. The cake tasting was a delight, the best we had tried in years, and without hesitation, we chose the flavors Kim recommended since they were the best. 10" coconut guava 8" strawberry shortcake cheesecake 5" vanilla berry 3-piece cake. I placed my order on January 18, 2025. The order was made for june 28 2025. It wasn't cheap, but the flavor and quality were worth it for our daughter's most important day. The day before the party, Kim messaged me asking if we could change a flavor because her delivery might not be in time to make the guava flavor. However, in the end, it was resolved. The problem was that the 8" strawberry shortcake cheesecake didn't come with cheesecake. I contacted Kim, and she replied that we could talk later. I waited for her and she never called. I texted again, and her husband responded saying that Kim wasn't available due to health issues. So I told him the cake arrived wrong. He told me he had checked with his team to make sure the cake had everything, and according to him it did, but the cake didn't, and I told him so. It was disappointing and upsetting since, as I said, the cake wasn't a gift. We paid 1,040 for it, and not receiving it as ordered was very sad. Of course, Kim's husband offered to make me a new cake with the wrong flavor, but there was no point in something like that. The party passed, and I didn't need a cake. Overall the cake quality and flavor were amazing however we are extremely disappointed with the missing flavor especially since we paid extra for it. It was not cheap and the problem was never resolved after the poor communication...

I hosted a cup sleeve event (the cup sleeves did not arrive in time for the event but the owner/workers were willing to have them on hand to add onto the cups if they did) here for Zayne from the game Love and Deep Space (IG/Tiktok @lads.events.ie). It’s an excellent space to do so! I contacted them through their IG and email and got a response in a few days asking for details. I provided the images we wanted to put on the windows and the deal we wanted to have for drinks and macarons (a print instead of cup sleeve for every drink and a pin badge for every 2 macarons ordered). We gave them a heads up and on the day, they had a section of the display case with all the macarons and their flavors listed which was so helpful for our guests! They have milk alternatives and many options for drinks and pastries. The bathroom is clean and very nice with a convenient changing room. We hosted our event outside in the covered outdoor patio and it was lovely even on a hot day. We created an 8ft x 8ft background which fit great at the back of the section for people to take photos with. The baristas, Jay, Az, and Ashley, were sooo lovely! They came outside on their break, inquiring about the game and what we were up to, and also offered water and to fill up people’s water bottles. For parking, we had people park on the side street next door if they planned to stay for longer than a quick pick up and this worked very nicely. We also had someone come in from public transportation and the bakery is between two very close bus stops so that was very helpful as well.

Overall, this experience hosting with Sugar Bloom Cakery and Coffee was a complete success and for our event (50+ people over a 7 hour period), it was...
