Bought a custom-made engagement ring with superior workmanship at a very fair price here! Honest and open-minded to your needs and concerns. Did not marginalize me as a student on a budget, but very capable of high-end work based on their custom items on display. Custom rings competitive with international jewelers.

Visited 3 local jewelers prior to landing at Queens. Did a lot of internet research and discussion with geographically distant friends in the business before approaching the engagement ring market - as should you, so you don't get taken for a ride. Here at Queens I found that the screening questions regarding prices and quality were answered squarely, fairly, and honestly. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend several other local retailers due to their pricing practices. Jewelry is an art so to be honest, it's worth whatever you are willing to pay - but I believe value is found in honest and straightforward business dealings. True story: the exact same custom ring request was quoted at higher prices x2-3 times by other area jewelers.

Lab grown and off-diamond gemstones are of interest to me. Unlike other jewelers, my requests for outside-the-box gemstones were met with respect. Did not upsell. Knowledgeable and honest regarding the quality of various synthetic vs natural gemstones, even when I suppose it might have meant less profit for them.

I told them my price range, and they made sure I walked out with the ring without paying a dollar over what I wanted. My fiancée said yes, and I am ever-grateful to these folks at Queens. Also of note, was very proud to bring my fiancée to this establishment, it is very neat and clean.

Long story short: I ended up at Queens due to price and quality of workmanship (ask to see their custom rings). William and Michael were fantastic to work with, and sent me CAD files as they worked. Look, I know purchasing a ring is nerve-wracking for various reasons, you may not get it right ( it happens) and Let's be real, some may even feel embarrassed because of their budget. And it's ok. The amount does not matter. They will help you here. They are very friendly and you get that humble "mom's and pops" vibe because of how they treat you. They never hustled me, or pressured me, or directed me into something I didn't feel comfortable with. Be honest with them, tell them your budget and they will work with you.
