Whiskey Republic Spirits & Kitchen — Restaurant in Redlands

First time we came here was on a Friday at 8:40PM to eat though were told food stopped at 8:45PM, so decided not to go in as chance would not be served.

We came on Friday 11/11/2022 at 6:30PM looking forward to Friday Punch Bowl, speciality drinks and eating. We checked the menu before arriving and were told Hot Dog we tried to order was not being offered anymore. We were told no Punch Bowls or speciality drinks available. We ordered 2 waters and ice tea while deciding and did not receive them. We reasked for these drinks and were brought ice tea, though no waters. We asked another 3-4 times for water during our time there and never brought water. Ordered tri-tip sandwich and when it came was different than described on menu… menu said was thinly sliced, with onion straws, mushrooms and provolone cheese on a warm butter garlic French roll. The sandwich came with chunks of meat, not coverings the whole sandwich, weird sauce on plain bread which is totally different than menu says. The meat was dry and tough! Told the waitress was the wrong sandwich and she said this is how they were coming out tonight. It did not taste good! Also ordered Quick Draw Flatbread and menu said had shredded buffalo chicken, bacon, red onions, diced celery, mozzarella and ranch drizzle. The flatbread chicken was fried chicken tenders cut up, not shredded & had buffalo sauce drizzled on top. There was none of any other ingredients. The pizza was burnt on bottom and crush was hard as a rock and inedible! Very disappointed with flat bread pizza! The chicken and fries dinner was alright. The bill came up wrong-we ordered 4 well drinks and 1 ice tea and charged 2x for ice tea and also put $10.50 Grey Goose charge. When we told the waitress she said we ordered it, which we didn’t and couldn’t do anything about it as was in our drink already. Well drinks were $6.00. There were a lot of servers though they seemed more running around like chickens with their heads cut to off as not being helpful or attentive most of the time. We did enjoy the live music! Not a good dinner experience! We overheard other customers talk about not liking...

I can see Bar Rescue in the picture at some point. If that was the manager with his head in his laptop, the entire time we were there, you need a new manager. I feel bad for the waite staff who is not being communicated with, as far as new menu items, or where they should greet dinner customers, or which tables they should be serving. We had to look for someone. The food was substandard. Frozen Poppers, mushy Mac n Cheese. The kitchen staff is very obviously, not properly trained. I received my salad 20 min after my friend received her warm entree. The chicken on the salad was breaded & fried. It's clear WR is trying to get by with the most inexpensive help, and the least costly food. You should just give up the kitchen or call it bar food, and concentrate on drinks. Which by the way came very slowly, at 2:45 p.m. on a Saturday. We also waited 45 min for our frozen, throw-in-the-microwave food, including 20 extra min for my cold salad. You're GOOD waite staff is going get frustrated, at the lack of leadership, & tips, and you'll have revolving door employees. But they're expendable right? The 3 stars is for our waitress alone. The 2 blank stars represent our experience....

This place is great!!!! Don't go to many bars, this one however might end up being my go to. They got different stuff going on every day of the wk, happy hr Mon thru Thur. Karaoke Thurs night live bands Sat night family Morning brunch with families...yes you can bring your kids on Sunday morning 11am to 2pm. Everyone is always welcoming...from the bartenders like Mary, Nikki and Ashley..to most guests and the owners. Make sure to find Clint and say hello..he's one of em. If you come early you'll find a nice relaxing place not to crowded with tvs all around almost every corner hopefully you can catch your favorite teams if they're playing and in season.. unfortunately haven't been able to catch a pirates game lol... East coast I know boo me! Hopefully they'll have some bills games available when football kicks off....Great place over all from what I seen of just one day of attendance. If you find yourself coming in on any given day...say hi to all be humble with open mind...
