La Posada Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Redmond

Love. My fave spot to take locals, new friends, and visitors. Easy for all meals and at a great price and portions. If you have been there before dont be afraid to try new things... everything is pretty good!

My family is treated so well and the service is amazing. A lovely group of folks run it and they really are so kind.

I suggest the spicy pickled carrots they have available, so great. They add a nice vinegar taste with out too much heat and it really deepens the overall taste of your meal. Like adding salt to a dish, the carrots pickled-ness enhance the flavor. They are soft with a nice crunch still too. I also love the green salsa. All salsas are amazing.

Great atmosphere where you feel like you stepped into your Tias apartment and she's welcoming you with a hug. (or is that just me..? 😂 cause my tias place feels like it...)

My family loves it and they even know my dad by name and his usual order now. It really is family friendly.

Please be kind to them as you enter their work place. It's very rude to make a fuss about language or anything really, especially if you are going for good, authentic, Mexican food. Remember that they are people too and should be treated as such!...

We used to frequent here often, and my view of La Posada gets worse each time. I realized a few months back that they were tacking on an additional % right before processing your card, which they don't state. They also won't provide you with a receipt and quickly bypassed that section on their platform before you can opt for one. Should I have called them on it? Yes, I should have but also come on just follow the law and post that you are adding on a % to cover card fees and be darned sure you aren't exceeding what you are being charged by your merchant processor. My bill before the additional unknown charge was around $76 and then increased to over $79. Again, it's less about the amount and more about not being up front about it.

As for the food. The tacos I ordered were good, my kids liked their la posada fries, but our enchilada plate that was $15 came out with cheese that wasn't even close to being melted. Unfortunately, their customer service atmosphere didn't make us all that comfortable with approaching them about it. So, we ate our meals and left with the mindset that we wouldn't be...

The customer service is lacking because no one there can speak English! I have enjoyed this place for some time now and went back recently after not having been there for a while. Both orders of rolled tacos were burnt and the guacamole was watered down and did not even taste like avocado, it was too garlicky as well! Also we ordered a full order of nachos and received a half order. I called to speak to somebody on the matter and he could not understand me or answer my questions or help me. Then he said it's too busy I can't help you right now and then hung up on me. Very unprofessional and rude! My opinion is this establishment should have someone that speaks English on every shift to help customers if they have an issue!!!! I should have taken pictures of the food before throwing it away. I paid over $30 for a half an order of super nachos and two sodas, the rest of my order was garbage!! If I could leave minus Stars for this establishment I would at this point. Sad because it used to be so...
