Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Redmond

My friend asked me to order for them while they used the restroom. It was an item from the menu, so when I ordered, I just read it off of the menu so I wouldn't mess it up. On the menu, "oatmilk" is in the name of the beverage (picture included). Therefore, I assumed that it would in fact be made with oatmilk and not dairy. Wrong.

I go back inside to ask if it was dairy because my friend said it tasted off. The barista informed me that I didn't say oatmilk and that all of their drinks were made with 2% dairy milk. I responded with, "It's an item on the menu and I figured since it said oatmilk it would be fine." Instead of an apology, she goes back and forth with me about how it's my fault.

At this point, I don't even want her to remake it, just give me a refund. I'm put on hold while she finishes with another customer (whom she also messed up on their order). Instead of a refund and without further acknowledging me, she remakes the coffee and sets it on the counter. Still no apology or acceptance of the mistake.

I went to this Starbucks on Friday 19 March to buy coffee. I thought I was in line to order my coffee but it was the line to pick up orders. I did go to the right place to order. After the woman in front of me ordered, the barista left the counter to help the other barista. She didn’t even acknowledge me to say “I’ll be right with you”. She and the other barista started discussing a drink order where they both could see me standing there and even then didn’t acknowledge I was even there. I waited a minute longer then walked away. I never went back even after I finished my shopping. I thought Starbucks baristas were more professional than that. I will not be returning to this Starbucks but I will continue to...
