Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Redmond

This review is for Lex. Lex, you should be ashamed of yourself. That said, I'm not sure you're capable of feeling any empathy or compassion at all. What you didn't know when you were SO INCREDIBLY RUDE to me is that I was visiting from out of town. Aside from my hotel, which was super sweet- you were the first person I had the pleasure of interacting with in Redmond. I mobile ordered coffee... As I do every single morning. I'm intimately familiar with the process. I walked from my hotel in downtown, in freezing temperatures (not your fault, but gives you a bigger picture) to grab the coffee I already paid for. When I arrived the door was locked and a sign read, mobile orders go through the drive thru. The dining room was closed because they were short staffed- I counted at least 5 people inside. I knocked on the glass. No one even looked my direction. I knocked again. This time I say through the door "I'm sorry, I mobile ordered and I don't have a car." A woman acknowledges me and walks to the door. She opens it quickly. She says in an irritated tone- You seem irate. Do we have a problem here? My first instinct was to punch you in the face but some adults are capable of practicing restraint. Instead I repeated what I said. I'm sorry, I mobile ordered and I don't have a car to drive through the drive thru. This is where you really shined, Lex. You asked me if I had a phone. What? Of course I had a phone, I mobile ordered. You then told me I could have called and asked if the dining room was open. Of course. Because that's what rational people, with real jobs do. They call open coffee shops to make sure they're open. You slammed the door in my face and reluctantly grabbed my coffee. When you returned you thanked me for not walking through the drive thru and getting hit by a car. I'm sure cleaning up a dead body would have really ruined your day. You're a disgrace to the brand, but more importantly, humankind. You are the worst kind of person- a selfish, uncompassionate one.

Shannon, on the other hand. You were a delight. I had my driver take me through the drive thru on my 2nd attempt to visit your store. I had bad anxiety thinking I might see Lex again. But no. We got Shannon. You were great. Like every other Starbucks I visit. You took my order and gave me a coffee, with a smile. Your attitude, especially compared to your colleague was fabulous.

Thank you, whoever, for taking the time to read this. I hope one person sees this review and becomes at least mildly appalled at the lack of respect some of this crew has towards it's...

I never leave reviews. I hate to do this but I don’t appreciate the worker who served my mother and I. Monica had terrible customer service. I don’t blame the other people working in there at all they even put cute stickers on my cake pop. But Monica seemed hostile from the second we pulled up. No polite manners or anything. We asked her to throw away our Starbucks cup empty from yesterday. I don’t know the rules about throwing things away here, but I’ve never had an issue before as long as it was dumped out. She continued to be rude with how she told us no, and slammed the window on our face before I had the chance to say anything. While I am not a coffee drinker, nor do I consume caffeine. The egg white bites are amazing. I used to buy Teavanna teas frequently. I was upset when the stores closed, and then excited when I heard they were bought by Starbucks. Unfortunately, Starbucks chose to keep a few teas of the wide variety Teavanna carried. None are my favorites, and they do not carry an decaf iced tea option. A customer can ask for a decaf tea to be iced, this process takes over 15 minutes and every time I am given a cup of warm tea, all the ice is melted. Very disappointing.
