WOW! JUST WOW! You know that feeling when u find a spot and wonder how come you hadn't been there before? That was me today, tasting the food at Riera's Place. Generous portions and SUPER friendly staff. They make their pastrami in-house and the hot pastrami sandwich was on hit! Saw they had pizza and got a slice kicker...BOOM! Crunchy crust with lots of cheese. Seriously, this is a MUST if u want a sandwich, salad or slice of pizza. For dessert..chocolate banana pudding cake! HEAVEN! Officially on the rotation! **UPDATE** I hit this place again and got the pizza and La Cubana along with a side of ahi tuna. Going on record...I DARE YOU to find a better ahi tuna. Sorry Flyin" Fin...sorry Nobu...just sayin THE BEST. La Cubana was a solid cuban sandwich, too. Seriously quality food. P.S. Now the have choc chip cookies, too.

We stopped in for a sandwich after hearing about Riera’s. We were impressed! Both sandwiches we got were very good, I especially enjoyed the Riera’s Special. The only feedback I’d give is I’d like a heartier bread for the meatball sandwich. That is a personal preference, regardless it was also delicious. We can’t wait to try all the other sandwiches.

Yummm. Finally found the perfect sandwich shop. I had the cold pastrami and my husband had the tri tip. Perfect amount of filling to bread ratio. I hadn’t had pastrami in so long so this was such a great. Great flavors. Staff was very friendly! Will definitely return.

UPDATE I hit this place again and got the pizza and La Cubana along with a side of ahi tuna. Going on record...I DARE YOU to find a better ahi tuna. Sorry Flyin" Fin...sorry Nobu...just sayin THE BEST. La Cubana was a solid cuban sandwich, too. Seriously quality food.

UPDATE 11/18/2020 I am such a fan, and wanted to try something different. Today I did a slice of pepperoni pizza. AMAZING! The sauce is fantastic, and they make their own dough - you CAN taste the difference. They also do complete pies as well. LOVE IT!

ORIGINAL POST - 10/9/2020 I was soooo hungry this afternoon and immediately thought of Riera's Place and Deli. This was my 2nd time here, and this time I got a Hot Pastrami sandwich, and it was SOOOO delicious. I sat at a table outside to consume it. The owner came out to see what I thought of it and told him I am a Pastrami aficionado and I told him how much I loved the meat. He then explained they MAKE THEIR OWN PASTRAMI! (brine for 5 days, and slow roast for the 6th) SO GOOD!! ...

Visiting from out of town, my brother and I stumbled upon this place. It’s tucked away in an unassuming strip mall, so we weren’t sure what to expect. The aroma when we stepped inside was encouraging. The service was excellent, friendly and competent. And the sandwiches! So delicious! The meats and cheeses are high quality, but it’s the bread that did it for me. I think anything would taste great on that bread. It’s the perfect balance of chewy and soft on the inside and flaky and crisp on the outside. The ratio of filling to bread was perfect too. My mouth waters every time I think of the Riera’s Special. This is the place for an unforgettable...
