Ordered through Door Dash as I am traveling and wanted to swing in and get back on the road.

Today I ordered: Organic Tofu ($17.35) with the following included: White Rice Bean Sprouts Carrots Cucumbers I ordered a side of Vegan Kimchi $1.40

The order was ready before my timer to pick up which was amazing.

It was on the table labeled pick up in a brown bag with everything asked for included, extra napkins and chopsticks as I am not one to use a fork :)

The tofu was soft and not crispy at all, yet I will say that it was seasoned to perfection and mixed with all the fixings I was able to get past the texture.

The Vegan Kimchi was out of this world amazing. My taste buds where having an amazing reaction as this was my first time ever eating Kimchi!!!

The establishment was very clean and quiet in atmosphere. As far as the staff goes they were not welcoming or friendly. Not even a hello or goodbye :( which was disheartening. I could see if the place was busy however there were no customers in fact it was empty.

Overall the food was great, the price was a bit much for what your getting, the customer service was lacking.

I will say this as well there was an older woman sitting outside whom stared me down when I was walking into the restaurant and out. The only reason I am assuming she worked there is because she had an apron on and looked like she was taking a break.

Reminder that customer service still is vital even if its a pick up order.

I said Howdy when walking past her and entering the establishment and there was no acknowledgement. Due to the lack of customer service I am removing two stars. As I am basing this review not only on food taste yet the full interaction.

This WAS one of my favorite spots and I'm normally not one to write a review. But h* s* was my customer experience the worse today. Showed up at 7p for dinner, keep in mind parking is already a challenge. I'm in line with another customer behind me the worker knows we are waiting but his focus is more important on the on line orders then the customer in front of him along with the other 3 employees. After a few min with out apologizing for the wait ask what I would like, luckily I was a regular but if it would of been my first time like the guy behind me it would of been 10x worse than my experience. So after the worker served my rice and meat(s) he just leaves it there and the other worker assumed I did not want any veggies... hmm why would I not? I ask for carrots only he then gave me a dirty look with a extreme small portion of carrots as my ONLY veggie option. I literately was close to walking out and just cross the street to crouching tiger. I get it dinner time can be busy but if that is the case hire more employees or do something because my experience was extremely bad. I come from being restaurant owners for 27 years and it would be a huge disappointment if any of our customers got bad service like I did this evening. DON'T I repeat DON'T go here during dinner time because the customer service will be little to none. If you really want food from here look at other restaurant options or order on line since they only care about on...

Equivalent of a Korean Panda Express. Great if you need a quick fix or have never had authentic Korean.

Pros: Michael is an amazing person, his enthusiasm for his work is clearly evident. He was the only person working at the store and gave his 100% I seriously hope they're paying him well. Michael, I hope you get to own your own place some day, I'm rooting for you!

The protein available is quite good and the portion size is large. Good selection of base layer as well. I ordered the mixed rice with Korean steak and ate everything. The home made hot sauce is also a delight.

Cons: The side dish game is super weak. You guys need a different kimchi vendor ASAP, that's the worst kimchi I've ever eaten. I tossed both the kimchi and potatoes, simply couldn't bring myself to swallow. The mushroom was mediocre at best. I didn't try the other sides but I can only imagine based on the 3 I tried.

Tip: Get double protein and skip the veggies; you'll have a much more...

Looking for some Korean food in Redwood city and stumbled across Seoul Kitchen. This place is very casual - not an up market restaurant, but this is reflected in the low prices too. There a very satisfying number of Ban chan selections with the usual proteins, and happily purple rice. The rice can be swapped out with a veggie base if you desire. All this being said, while the food is not super authentic, I was super happy with my choice (Spicy Pork) and I was unable to finish the bowl as the portion size was huge. So to sum up; quick, simple, fresh and great value. I would highly recommend this place for a quick lunch and or a simple evening meal.
