I’m a music producer/DJ and put on a gig here celebrating my recent album release. It was a total blast, and the staff went out of their way to address my vision for the event without any hesitation. This is a great space for any up and coming musical artist that is looking for an intimate venue with flexible options for stage/furniture layout, sound equipment, lighting and more. I didn’t have to bring any of my supplemental audio equipment to the gig as a lot of it was provided by the venue - that was super convenient! My audience had a fantastic time and I will definitely be playing more DJ gigs here!

The Hub is a true hidden gem for those in search of an inviting setting to savor live music. The staff's genuine knowledge of the music scene is surpassed only by their warm and friendly demeanor, elevating the overall experience. What sets The Hub apart is its commendable balance between affordability and quality in its drinks, making it a standout destination in Redwood City. A must-visit for those who appreciate genuine hospitality and great music.

This place is under new ownership since pandemic. It’s my neighborhood pub. I always get the “Grasshopper” drink. Alan makes the best cocktails. Thursday nights are board games night and Wednesday nights usually have karaoke, bands or burlesque show. The place is always clean. Alan is probably the best bartender I have ever encountered. Highly recommend.

Everyone I asked in Redwood City sent me to the same place: the Underground on Broadway. You can't miss it - it has a bright London Underground sign high up above the door. The first night I came was Comedy Night (Wednesday), which was a great chance to see some up-and-coming talent and meet the hard-working host. The bar staff are really friendly and welcomed me straight away with engaging conversation - they even helped me get in touch with a friend when my phone wasn't working. I was lucky to be there for Halloween, when the place was packed with costumed party-goers (all really well-behaved and good fun), both downstairs playing pool and beer pong, and upstairs on the dance floor. The only thing that could be better was the Guinness (I'm Irish so it's important), but I think it's the gas used in the US; all the Guinness I got elsewhere was much worse! Overall, the best bar for...
